L'appartamento di Simona è in un borgo storico nella valle d'Orcia molto bello e caratteristico. La gente che ho incontrato era molto cordiale e a due passi da casa c'è un ristorante tipico toscano, comodo se alla sera non ci si vuole spostare dal borgo e non si vuole cucinare. L'appartamento è comunque dotato di tutto ciò che può servire, è pulito e con vista molto bella sul paesaggio. Simona è un'ottima oste, anche se a distanza. Vivamente consigliato!

Montemassi ist ein wunderschön gelegener Ort und eine sehr gute Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge und Touren in die südliche Toskana. Die Unterkunft von Lucia und Marco ist traditionell und zugleich sehr modern und äußerst hochwertig, komfortabel und geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Ausblicke von den Terrassen sind umwerfend und atemberaubend schön - man ist buchstäblich im Himmel und die Vögel beim Ziehen ihrer Kreise zu beobachten ist unglaublich entspannend. Lucia und Marco sind tolle Gastgeber, sehr sympathisch und unterstützend. Alles in allem eines der besten Airbnb‘s, unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Outstanding stay! The house is located in an exceptional, nature-close setting with a large, fenced garden and breathtaking panoramic views. It is very well equipped, including bed linens, towels, and everything you might need. We were welcomed with a beautifully prepared table full of gifts – such a lovely gesture! The interior lighting is excellent, which might be important to some guests. The host was incredibly friendly, answered all our questions promptly, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Fantastica vacanza Mattia è un super host, la casa è spettacolare e dotata di tutti i confort Molti pulita ed accogliente e’ in una posizione strategica sia per andare al mare che per visitare i meravigliosi ed antichi borghi toscani Non dimenticate di visitare il parco della Maremma con la splendida spiaggia di Marina di Alberese A Castiglioni della Pescaia ci sono ottimi ristoranti sia di pesce che di carne Da provare! Ara Macao e’ una casina deliziosa che ti invita a ritornare ……. Ed è gestita veramente bene da Mattia

We absolutely loved this charming house! It was spacious (3 nice size bedrooms) and 2 full baths, but the living room and kitchen/dining area took our breath away. We were a party of 7 and the place was perfect! The grounds looked like the pictures. Lucca was there to welcome us immediately when we arrived, gifting us with a bottle of wine. He also helped arrange reservations at the local bar because we were hungry but didn’t want to drive to proper restaurants in the area. Would recommend that folks driving in use Waze or Google Maps to be absolutely certain not to miss the left turn to a very small alley/side street. Otherwise it is easy to find and the neighborhood looked charming. We did not get to see the private mini falls & hiking spots in the area because we drove to Pienza, San Quirico, Montepulciano etc everyday. This is a great base to see Val d’Orcia region. Note that Vivo d’Orcia is in a mountainous area so driving includes endless loops. Highly recommend this place!!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem stilvollen gepflegten Haus mit großem Grundstück im Grünen. Das Haus ist mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, alles sauber und ordentlich. Wir waren mit Kindern und Hund dort und haben das einfache Leben in der Natur genossen. Während unseres Aufenthalts war die vorbeiführende Straße gesperrt. So mussten wir bei Ausflügen zwar Umwege fahren, aber dadurch war es sehr ruhig und man hat den Bach und die Tiere hören können. Sehr entspannend, für uns und alle diejenigen, die so etwas mögen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Die Kommunikation war stets schnell, freundlich und um unser Wohl bemüht. 👍 Vielen Dank den Gastgebern und alles Gute für die Zukunft.

The airbnb was great! Great views, the room facing the valley was nice and quiet, very quaint, old home. We were quite comfortable. You have to park a bit far from the Airbnb, so just be aware of that and try to reduce the number of trips you will need to make between the car and the Airbnb - we had our baby with us so that can be a bit tricky. Also, like in most homes in Europe, the floors are mostly stone/tile so I would recommend bringing comfy house socks or slippers. We also enjoyed the shops right outside of the door!

Beatiful house with everything you need. The house was really clean, and it has all the amenities you need. The contact with Andrea was good. In the surroundings there is not much to do, but if you are looking for peace and quite, and you don't mind driving a bit for activities, this is the perfect place.

ideale sia per esplorare il Monte Amiata, che per godere del centro di Abbadia, senza utilizzare (in questo secondo caso) la macchina. appartamento spazioso e luninoso, ospitale anche con gli animali domestici. Check in flessibile e proprietaria proattiva, nonché molto gentile, nelle comunicazioni.

Il Poderuccio di Lucia si trova in un'ottima posizione ed è perfetto come punto di partenza per esplorare la bellissima Val d'Orcia. L'appartamento è spazioso, pulito, cucina provvista di tutto ed i letti erano comodi. Il bagno ha una doppia doccia..utile per famiglie con bambini piccoli. Fuori c'è un bel terrazzo con tavoli, sedie e sdraio..per chi volesse fermarsi ad ammirare il bellissimo panoramma sui colli della Val d'Orcia. Lucia è stata molto cordiale, accogliente e flessibile per il check-in/check-out. È stato un piacere conoscere lei e la sua bella famiglia. Per noi è stato un bel soggiorno e ci farebbe piacere ritornarci. Grazie!

Ludovica was the perfect host beginning with her personal greeting for our check in and her very helpful responses to all questions we had during our stay. Although she's very busy and hard-working (she also manages her animal shelter) she always had time to help us. The area surrounding the property is beautiful, peaceful, and charming with lots of outdoor space to lounge, relax and soak in the breeze and rolling hills (we enjoyed lunch under the large tree behind our villa). The inside decor is a perfect mix of traditional Tuscan style with a few modern conveniences that made our stay very comfortable and we felt right at home. Ludovica did a great job decorating to get the right balance. The location is great as well as it's between a 15 minute to 1 hour drive of most of the wonderful villages you'll want to visit including Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico D'Orcia, Castiglione d'Orcia, and our favorite, Pienza. We highly recommend La Tana del Bianconiglio.

Really wonderful place. Antonia is a fantastic host and provided us with really helpful instructions to find the Airbnb which is tucked away on the hill side. The views are incredible and there is everything you need both in the flat and the surrounding area. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be looking to come back.

l'appartamento è molto bello e accogliente, c'è tutto quello che ti serve per trascorrere un comodo soggiorno. Davide è stato disponibile e puntuale. Si trova in pieno centro del paese, nel quale si possono fare diverse esperienze in natura. Spero di poterci tornare. Lo consiglio.

Tutto perfetto, un posto meraviglioso immerso nel verde con vista a 360 gradi sulla Val d'orcia! Roberto è molto cordiale e simpatico, ci ha dato la possibilità di accendere il caminetto che per il nostro weekend romantico è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Assolutamente consigliata la degustazione dei vini dell'azienda!

Johanna’s delightful listing is in part of the family’s historically significant home. Inside, the apartment is filled with books and interesting art of all kinds. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is small, but I cooked some nice meals. The outdoor space is amazing. We loved having our coffee in the morning in the garden, and our wine in the evening overlooking the harbor. We loved the winding walk into town and back, and there is a nice grocery store very nearby. Johanna and her daughter Giulia were very kind and responsive when the WiFi stopped working. They did everything they could to fix the issue and it was fine for the rest of our stay. They also left us a lovely bottle of wine and we even got a ride from Johanna to and from the bus stop upon arrival and departure. We felt we were truly “guests” of the family. Be sure and ask about the history of the home if you get a chance. Enjoy your stay!

Mel is a fantastic host and the place is exactly like in your most vivid Tuscany dreams.:) It's not our first time here and we absolutely loved everything about the place. We booked all three homes available at Mel's place and had an unforgettable week with the entire family - highly highly recommended! Thank you, Mel for being absolutely fabulous!✨

Das Haus ist sehr schön und rhuig gelegen, in einem sehr guten Zustand und top eingerichtet. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto da Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafes etwas weiter weg sind. Trotz gemischten Wetterbedingungen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die schönen Tage waren wir Wandern, Fahrradfahren in der Maremma oder baden am Meer. Das naheliegende Daniel Spöri-Museum ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Bei Regen haben wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche ausgiebig gekocht und bei Kaminfeuer die gute DVD Musik- und Film-Auswahl genossen. Rundum für uns (5) ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.

Una location davvero bellissima. Sia la campagna e i paesi circostanti, sia la proprietà e il giardino. Orari di check in flessibile, casa pulita e proprietaria molto gentile. 10/10!

Woooow, no words can really describe how wonderful this place is. We've seen this fantastic villa from afar before (you can see it when coming in to the island from the boat), but we could never imagine how wonderful it is. The house itself is perfect, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms etc - but what really stood out was how close you were to the city while also feeling like having your own little paradise. The balconies where a dream, the view perfect and the private place to swim simply wonderful. 10/10, and will 100% come back!

Wonderful stay! So peaceful with incredible views, I slept better than I have done in years and we were so grateful for Luigi restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The beach at the national park was amazing and we loved the thermal baths- remember to take off silver jewellery though! Location fantastic and we would love to return one day. A very big thank you!

La casa si trova nelle vicinanze di Saturnia e altre località della maremma...un posto strategico per visitare questi posti in un contesto tranquillo con un giardino recintato dove abbiamo potuto lasciare libero il nostro cane e rilassarci a leggere un libro al fresco Massimo e sua moglie super precisi nell'accoglienza il posteggio è nel giardino di casa comodissimo

Abbiamo soggiornato alla Casa del Fico in aprile 2025. La casa è molto bella, pulita e ben curata, collocata nel silenzio delle campagne retrostanti Marina di Pescia Romana, con numerosi posti letto a disposizione. Oltre alla sala da pranzo al piano terra ve ne è una anche nel seminterrato, entrambe con lunghi tavoli che consentono pranzi e cene anche per ospiti numerosi (noi eravamo in 9). Nel bel giardino è presente una piscina e un gazebo con un altro grande tavolo che consente di mangiare all’aperto, meglio se sotto le stelle, ben visibili stante lo scarso inquinamento luminoso della zona (specie per chi vive in città). Numerosi sono i luoghi da visitare nel circondario: Saturnia, Tarquinia, il parco archeologico di Vulci, Viterbo, il lago di Bolsena, la Maremma, solo per citarne alcuni, oltre ovviamente al mare. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Non possiamo che consigliare la Casa del Fico a tutti coloro che intendono programmare una vacanza in queste belle zone.

abbiamo soggiornato in 8 amici per il capodanno, nonostante il nostro ritardo all'arrivo Riccardo si è trattenuto per spiegarci la storia della casa e dei suoi dintorni. è sempre stato disponibile ed interessato sulla comodità del nostro soggiorno. la casa è veramente magnifica, ancora più grande di quel che si vede in foto e veramente ben tenuta. il tragitto per arrivare non è semplicissimo ma una volta imparato diventa più semplice.
