Great place in a nice little neighborhood pocket that is still walkable to shops/beach. Hosts were responsive and accommodating to our needs with a baby. Would definitely recommend this listing and hope to stay again.

Incredible property! Megan was an ideal host, quick to respond and more than accommodating. The home was perfect for our little family. The proximity of water to house was second to none. We have travelled quite and bit and use Airbnb often, the jacuzzi to fire pit to ocean proximity is unmatched. Will definitely stay again, can’t recommend Megan or her property enough!

We had such an amazing weekend! The house was even better than the pictures—super cozy, clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It had all the perfect touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Sarah was such a great host—so kind, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had a smooth and comfortable stay. We've stayed on Glenn's beautiful boat so many times I've lost track. It's our favorite place to stay in Ventura! This time we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! We saw a seal swimming around plus we enjoyed the live music and food at the Harbor. Can't wait to go back soon!!

WOW! Just WOW! First and foremost Teddy is a fantastic host, very responsive, kind and proactive. This house is BEAUTIFUL! Made us want to move to Santa Barbara. The location is perfect, so close to everything and walkable to the beach. The house was beautiful and perfect for a large family or group. We really enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to come back with my family.

Was in town for work and Meredith’s place seemed like the right fit and it definitely was. Cozy and spacious. Steps away from the beach too which was a plus!

Great location, hot tub and pool were really great, great family spaces. We had a great week there. Also, Melissa was very helpful in mailing me something I accidentally left behind in the house.

Loved the decor, furniture, artwork, coziness and charm at Mary’s place. The gardens were a delight. I enjoyed coffee in the garden several mornings while watching birds among the flowers. My 2 year old and I really enjoyed our stay. It was great to walk with him to the Douglas Family Preserve for some exercise (not far or strenuous, but great for a 2 year old to get energy out.) also enjoyed a walk to the steps down to the beach at low tide. He explored some tide pools and I got a workout carrying him back up the many steps. Mary was super kind and friendly and visited with us briefly one morning. Loved meeting her. It’s an easy drive to most places you’d want to go from Mary’s. If you want a nice breakfast on the water (or any meal), go to the boat house restaurant nearby - don’t waste time at Shoreline Cafe, which has very mediocre food, slow service, but a great sandy outdoor eating area for littles to play while you’re eating. We mostly ate out due to no full kitchen.

Sarah was very responsive to our questions and super friendly. The house was as described, and has everything you need. Surprisingly quiet for being on a main street. It was very close to some fun restaurants and it's a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay here; it was a nice respite from my busy conference!

Connie is the best host I’ve ever had! Her property was paradise, the house felt like a complete getaway even though it was just 1 1/2 hrs from LA. We got to go whale watching in Santa Barba and come back to the property to lounge by the beautiful heated pool surrounded by fruit trees and a beautiful fragrant flower garden. Connie was super responsive and accommodating, everything in the house worked well and the space was so relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and great for hanging outside. Everything was as described. We had a great girls weekend there.

This is a beautiful home in one of the few waterfront properties between Santa Barbara and Ventura. The host was highly responsive and accommodating, and the place was very clean despite some wear and tear. The only cautions I would give to someone looking to stay here are that (1) the pool and hot tub are extremely narrow, (2) the house has no air conditioning, and (3) a large suburban or truck won’t fit in the carport with the gate closed. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Our family of 5 had a perfect week here. The location is perfect for beach days or to jump on the 101 and head into SB or up the 154.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Ventura! The space was cozy, welcoming, and exactly as described—everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The amenities were top-notch, and the custom webpage app was a brilliant touch that made settling in seamless. The check-in process was smooth and clearly explained, which we really appreciated. We'd happily recommend this place to others and would absolutely stay here again!

Great location! Beach was only a few minutes walk. Neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet, with exception of the daily national anthem coming from the nearby naval base. The house is stocking with everything you would need to make big family meals and anything you might want for beach play. Our grown kids LOVED the ping pong table in the garage!

Our 2nd stay here, and we still loved it so much. Quiet but close to everything, so many thoughtful touches (hampers in every bedroom, for example!) and perfect for our family of 4. Kelly was very responsive and friendly. Comfortable beds. Love this place, highly recommend!

I cannot put in words what a fantastic experience we had! Absolutely lovely place with everything you could need and more! Beautiful design, great amenities, fantastic location! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Some of the things that make this place top on my list, each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Each floor has a bedroom and it's not easy to hear commotion from a different floor which was a plus for us since my daughter took her babies and the rest of us were not awakened by crying. The third floor has a bedroom and bathroom that is very spacious and beautiful. The place was extremely clean, beds were comfortable. I am a germophobe and felt comfortable enough to cook here, which I rarely do. Furniture seems brand new and well taken care of. There is a driveway with parking for two cars. Matthew responded in a timely manner to my questions. It was a very nice and comfortable stay!

It was a great spot for our family to hang out for spring break! We loved the reading nook for sure and the kids loved having a spot to 'get away from parents' ie the carriage house. It's an easy and quick drive back to areas like: stearns wharf, state street, funk zone. My hubby and I also had some nice walks to the beach and the big preserve nearby. If you're adventurous you can find your way down to arroyo beach and enjoy the cafe there for breakfast! Great spot! Thanks Lynn!
