The location of the apartment is awesome. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and excellent view of the beach and ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was such a gift. Patti is lovely and kind with her communications. We did have some issues with the shower and bath sink in one of the bathrooms. We also wished we had paid attention to what was not listed in terms of provisions. For example, you’d have to bring your own coffee, teas, paper towels, and bathroom hand soaps (although napkins and bath soap bars were provided). Overall, a beautiful home at a great location with potentials for some minor improvements which I understand Patti will address in good spirit.

Very nice and welcoming host, very recommended

This is a great place to stay for kids and adults alike. The view of Monterey Bay doesn't get any better than this place. We had an ocean view, the rooms are new, clean and comfortable, there is a great pool, the hottub could have used a scrub, but there were other amenities that made up for it. The check-in was super easy. The kids got s'mores making kits for the fire pits. Great sushi place nearby (Ichi Riki). We kept our luggage at the hotel while we went to the aquarium. We highly recommend this place for an easy stay.

What an amazing and special place! The home was nicely appointed and worked well for our family of 4. The pool table was a fun activity and the TVs enabled a family movie night. Beautiful place to unwind and take in the scenery. Great location to town and hikes. The host was very nice and suggested great local activities. Would highly recommend.

Amazing getaway spot with ocean view! Big space, comfortable bed and incredible location. The host, Diane, is super accommodating and feels very comfortable and safe here.

The entire experience of staying at the 3-story home was beautiful. The house was clean, there was a lot provided, we did not need to call the host, not even once. The home is on a quiet hilltop. It’s very serene. Perfect long weekend getaway. The only tips I’d give to future visitors are 1, the main door with the keypad is on the middle floor not the top floor where you park your car. Walk to the 2nd floor door to get inside. 2, the deck area on the 2nd floor is a must place to hang out & enjoy the breathtaking ocean view. 3, the property description states this, I cannot over emphasize, “there’s a lot of stairs” so if you have issues with climbing a lot of stairs, this property might not be for you. Walking to the beach from the house was a bit of a workout, a steep walk to the edge of the hill & then lots of stairs down to the beach.

Such a beautiful space and so easy to get around. Hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Parking is easy but tight, so if your car is larger you might want to use the ample street parking. Easy either way.

This is a perfect retreat for a group of 6 or less (we were 4). The condo is really well designed and built, with privacy and quiet in each of the bedrooms. We all noticed that when we were in our rooms we could not hear anyone else in the house. The layout had two wonderful seating areas for eating and socializing that maximize the ocean view. Parking was plentiful and convenient, and the area was peaceful and quiet. Note that the location is on a very rugged stretch of coast, so the beach isn't necessarily one where you could take a long walk on a sandy shore. It is somewhat secluded with easy access to the little town of Moss Landing with several good, casual restaurants, and a short drive to Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Our host responded to our inquiries very quickly, check-in and check-out was seamless.

To say the view is terrific would be an understatement. The ocean was a hundred feet away from the bedroom, dining room, and the living room window. The best view we ever had in an airbnb. There was one issue with the WiFi that Jennifer jumped on and stayed in touch until it was fixed, we really appreciated that. We would be very happy to stay here again.

We had a fabulous time here and we will be back again. The location at the beach cannot be beat and the view from the upstairs primary bedroom is stunning. Everything was clean and comfortable, and every need was provided for - throws and blankets, beach towels and chairs, games, etc. We really appreciated the wine and cheese welcome gift. Communication was excellent - if we had any question, the host company responded immediately. The people at the gate were friendly and didn't treat us like outsiders. Our family loved every minute of our stay!

Everything was advertised. This unit had it all. Very comfortable for 2 or 3 couples. The location was spectacular.

Janice’s apartment had gorgeous views and was a short walk to a lovely and walkable beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to make easy meals and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

My family and I loved Biff's place. The ocean views and sunsets are unreal. Thats really what stole the show. The place is currently for sale, so it seems like this is a way to get people to check out the place and "sell them on it." It's walkability to the beach is fantastic, for its just a few minutes away down an accessible pathway. It's a bit outdated with carpeting and 80's style kitchen and bathrooms, however somehow that made it more cozy and we felt right at home. I 1000% recommend this place and would love to come back.

We stayed at Biff’s place for one week in the beginning of August. As the beach house in the Monterey Dunes Colony is administrated centrally, the communication with the host was kept to a minimum. All the information needed were given in advance online and in a packet at the gate. That was absolutely okay for us. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the colourful sand dunes and the feeling of having a private beach directly in our backyard (10 seconds walking distance). The beach is wide and at no time too busy – ideal for playing with kids. However, there are some restrictions, e.g. flying a kite is forbidden due to the protection of squeakers. This Airbnb is really nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped, however some more tableware and cutlery would have been great. The whole interior design is made with love (e.g. the huge and cute teddy bears in the children’s room), so that everyone can feel like being at home. The view from the living room/one bedroom is stunning.

The condo unit is located in a peaceful quiet setting with access to the beach that is very secluded. The community has a nice walking path. Parking is easy. The Unit is as described with clean towels, bedding and lots of cutlery in the kitchen. We liked the place.

Absolutely amazing place. The views were incredible. The place was cozy, clean, and super relaxing. Would definitely recommend as a couple retreat from the world !

great and comfortable location for the perfect price! the shower and bed were heavenly. best checkout process I've had. the only thing to note is this is a downstairs apartment. the family upstairs was up early on Saturday, and is sounds like their living space is above the bedroom. maybe that's why the price was so good.

We enjoyed a perfectly peaceful stay at Ann’s! We couldn’t have asked for a better location with the aquarium, shops, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. The bed was comfy, cozy interior, beautiful gardens. Just the perfect spot!

This was an amazing property and great place to stay. Beautiful views, nice house, and a very responsive property management team. Staff were super friendly and the house was as advertised. Secluded neighborhood very close to the beach and drivable to most attractions. Bring binoculars for whale watching, we were successful. We highly recommend this place. Thank you!!

This was our second time staying at Sallie's Cottage, and it was just as lovely this time around. It's cute, clean, and steps from downtown. It's also just a short walk to Lover's Point. Our host Elizabeth was so awesome, even offering to go down to the Aquarium to pick up a stingray that our son lost somewhere between the house and the beach. I can't recommend Sallie's Cottage enough. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to PG.
