Silvia was a wonderful host and the local groundskeepers were lovely as well. Silvia went above and beyond, helping us to communicate to the airline regarding our luggage that didnt arrive. the place was exactly as posted and an amazing value, and was perfect for what we needed. it was wonderfully located from all the sights, and perfectly secluded for our family with little kids. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Cosra Rica!

Beautiful garden and so very peaceful! Gerhard met us at the gate which was so helpful because it was not very easy to find plus it was dark so even harder. He was very informative about the area. Their dog Coco was so friendly and we enjoyed having her around.

A good base to explore the other less touristy side of Arenal - especially for windsurfers. Designed for relaxation as well as a chance to get to know others. Helena was a very knowledgable host and is passionate about Costa Rica and all it has to offer.

This is the perfect location! Just a few minutes away from downtown with a great restaurant and market just across the street. Right next to the volcano for a perfect peaceful morning coffee! Karen was so sweet and kind and very attentive. Muchas gracias, Karen!

The stay was more than beautiful in the hills of La Fortuna! So peaceful and quiet. Would definitively recommend for a time out :)

What a fabulous find! A really delightful place to spend a few days amidst beautiful grounds with lots of bird life and a sense of tranquillity and peacefulness. It has everything we needed for our stay and is one of the most relaxing and comfortable places we have been in during our month exploring Costa Rica. You could stay and write your novel here!

Excelente hospedaje, con todas las comodidades necesarias para disfrutar de la estancia y de la comunidad. El lugar cumple exactamente con lo descrito y con lo que se muestra en las fotos. La cocina está completamente equipada para preparar comidas y cuenta con un espacio con mesa para disfrutar de los alimentos y compartir. Las habitaciones son cómodas, con cobijas adecuadas para el frío y abanicos para el calor. El baño dispone de ducha, paños y toallas. La ubicación es céntrica, transitable, pero en un sitio tranquilo, contiguo a servicios básicos como supermercados, restaurantes y gasolinera. La atención de los anfitriones muy servicial, respetuosos amables y tienen una rápida respuesta.

Todo bien y excelente, particularmente la atención de Tito y Manuel, personas muy atentas, sociables y empáticas, con gran disposición en ayudar y orientar, además de ser expertos en la cocina.

Es un lugar extremadamente HERMOSO, perfecto para desconectarse y renovar energías, súper completo, acogedor, el lugar estába impecable, cuidaron de cada detalle, tiene todo a la mano para no preocuparse por nada, la piscina super limpia y relajante mi esposo y yo estuvimos cuatro días y no nos alcanzó para disfrutar de tanto que ofrece el lugar y la casa, sin duda la anfitriona es una hermosa persona, súper amable y dulce, es un lugar simplemente perfecto, a ojos cerrados volveremos a este lugar. (súper recomendado)

This place really is a gem in the hills overlooking the village of San Isidro de Penas Blancas. Perfect for families or individuals, International and domestic Costa Rican travellers, to stay put; or to tour mountains, valleys and rivers b/w the Arenal and Poas volcanos and end the day in comfort listening by the pool in the gardens to Exotic Birds and seeing grazing cattle and maybe the big iguana! Mila often shares meals, fruit, coffee and Costa Rican cooking tips. She often invites guests on ad hoc adventures. During those outings, I had animal sightings, including sloths and a parrot; beautiful lush mountain and valley scenery always; lots of water, night rain as well as visits to waterfalls, swims in many rivers and even the Pacific Ocean. The Apartment is airy and comfortable. An amazing mountain valley vista (heart) from my hours long perch on the main balcony morning and evening every day! We absolutely loved our stay at Natascha’s air bnb! It was recommended to us by friends of ours that had stayed there previously and we were so happy we chose it! Natascha was a wonderful communicator, so friendly and helpful! She recommended great places for us to eat! The air bnb is the perfect distance from town, allowing us to relax and enjoy the yard and hot tub! We would highly recommend this spot to others! Thank you for having us!

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen Ein sehr gutes hostel mit großem Schlafzimmer und sauberem Badezimmer. Personal ist sehr nett und die Preis Leistungs ist top. Einzige Kritik ist das Toilettenpapier das wirklich das dünnste Klopapier war das ich je gesehen habe.

My friends and I had a great time at Cattleya. Everyone wa so nice and friendly. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We loved the hammocks! The area is a bit industrial so you may hear some noise in the morning but after all, you are at a hostel and it’s not always peaceful anyway haha. We really did enjoy our time and recommend the place to anyone wanting the true Monteverde experience!

Laurie and Barbara were excellent hosts, going over and above expectations at every turn. They were extremely helpful when our rental car had a flat tyre, driving out to find us on the main road to Tilaran. Laurie changed the tyre for us because the rental car didn't have the correct tools. Laurie and Barbara drove us to places and restaurants we would not have otherwise found. The views from the road above Lake Arenal are truly spectacular. The Casita is fairly close to many unique attractions. It is quite private and quiet, except for some men who were working on a building next door. The tastefully decorated Casita has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal from the back yard. It has an excellent washer and dryer, a comfortable king sized bed, a lovely bathroom and a comfy couch for watching TV. The kitchen had enough equipment for basic food preparation, which we appreciated. Any time of day it was great to spend time soaking up the sun and bird watching/listening. We saw/heard hummingbi

Jürgen und Karen haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und lädt zum verweilen am Pool ein. Wir wurden sogar noch zu einem herzhaften Frühstück eingeladen. Wir können diese tolle Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder einen Halt bei Jürgen und Karen einlegen!
