Our 3 BR/2BA single-level floor plan allows for the perfect gathering spot for family and friends. The living room opens seamlessly into a fully-stocked "chef's" kitchen. Our outdoor spaces equipped with a firepit, grill, dining table, and rocking chairs allow guests to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Asheville, exploring downtown Black Mountain (1.4mi), visiting Montreat (1.1mi) & Ridgecrest (3.2mi) or hiking in the nearby national forests.

Mary Ida’s Place in-town, walkable location

Near Old Fort's downtown, restaurants, shops, brewery & winery within a few blocks. Hiking & cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close. It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread. If it isn't available, check Railway Rest, a mile from town.

Shalom Cottage TOXIN FREE/Filtered Shower

Find a refuge in the heart of NC at this cozy haven at the base of Rainbow Mountain. Nestled at the end of a gravel street right next to our residential home, our cottage offers a secluded space for rest and relaxation while remaining a mere stone's throw away from the attractions of Black Mountain. Snuggle up with some tea during brisk weather, or enjoy a morning coffee on the porch while the sun is shining. You can expect occasional visits from ducks, rabbits, deer, and bears. Come and rest.

MONTREAT ROUND HOUSE - This charming Round House, nestled in the treasured, historic community of Montreat, is just 2 miles from Black Mountain (voted "The Prettiest Small Town In America)" and 17 miles from Asheville! Montreat features 21 hiking trails amongst 4,000 pristine acres. The unique, fully renovated property, intersects rustic character with modern flair. Cabin in the Clouds

Cabin in the Clouds is a beautiful, one bedroom vacation home in a secluded, private community that's very quiet and has been renovated in 2023. The bathroom was completely remodeled, new living room furniture, new marble top dining room table, refurbished bedroom, new floors. There's a beautiful view from our porch that has deck furniture and propane grill. Inside is an open layout with open beam ceiling and pine paneling. Black Mountain is a quaint vacation town, you will love this place.

The Little Red House

This tastefully decorated home is a 3 min drive to downtown Black Mountain and 18 min to Asheville. Enjoy the quality craftsmanship of the home and the high end finishes. Built by a true artisan, you can see his attention to detail throughout the home. Located on a quiet street a near downtown Black Mountain, enjoy the proximity to great restaurants and shops. Have your morning coffee on the porch listening to birds sing. Parking for three cars. Two pets welcome with a one time $75 pet fee.

The Wallace @Westview Lodge

Westview is a unique, modern lodge located on Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Black Mountain, just steps from all the restaurants, breweries, shops, and history this quaint town of 8,400 has to offer. Westview Lodge is a new, bright, beautifully decorated, contemporary space designed to create the perfect getaway to the the town TripAdvisor recently named “prettiest small town in America”. The Lodge’s unique layout makes it perfect for small group trips and family reunions.

Enjoy slow pace

This is a 1940's stone cottage. Great fenced in yard with covered area with fire pit, grill, and seating and eating area. Great place to relax and let your worries roll away ( my personal favorite is the Eno hammock). The house also has a great front porch with porch swing. The house is a 2 bedroom 1 bath. It also has sleeper sofa and cot for little ones. It is one mile to downtown and one mile to Montreat college . Pets are welcome, a maximum of 2 dogs, there is a $50.00 pet fee .

Located in the Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, our cozy cabin is 2.5 miles from downtown Black Mountain, 13 miles from Asheville, and 8 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Minutes to hiking and biking trails and waterfalls. Enjoy 360 degree mountain views and a country setting on the outskirts of town.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!
