We had an amazing stay at Bryn Du… location is just beautiful , cottage is clean, comfortable , cosy. Felt instantly relaxed on arrival. Toby was a great host , good communication..would highly recommend Bryn Du.

Never been to north wales before but Richard’s place was ideal not far from any other areas we were going to visit spot on lovely place clean quite picturesque views and a hot tub good value for money thank you Julie x

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Sorrel House. The property is just as described and was wonderful for a weekend away with longstanding friends. Grinshill is a peaceful village with good walking, and a relatively short drive or taxi ride away from Shrewsbury where we went for food in the evening. Everything about our stay was great and we’d look to book again!

We cannot recommend The Coach House enough. Not only were Clare and Ed excellent hosts, the cottage was pristine, well decorated and private, it made for a perfect couple’s staycation. The area was beautiful and made a peaceful environment for an evening in the hot tub. The welcome basket with essentials was very thoughtful. The highlight of our stay was when the cows came to say hello when we were sat on the bench in the garden. 10/10 would recommend and we intend to come back in the future.

What a wonderful place to stay!. The house is both charming and functional. The kitchen is better equipped than my own home! All was nice and clean and Helwn even left us some basics (butter, milk, tea, coffee, etc.). My kids loved the bedrooms and some of the quirks like having to be careful not to let the sheep out of the gate when driving in! I think this is the best place I have found on Airbnb in more than 10 years of using it!!! Hope to come back some time.

Rich & Sarah's place made for the perfect holiday. It feels like somewhere they actually use and enjoy which makes the place feel very warm and full of character. It was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could want and more. On this occasion, we were able to check in early and check out late which was a real treat - we appreciated the hosts' flexibility. They were very easy to communicate with and we had all the information we needed about the flat and about the local area. There's tons to do around the area - we had never been before and now we can't wait to come back. This place served as a perfect base to explore. Would happily stay again and recommend to anybody.

Wow! Everything about the Boathouse is amazing, the accommodation, the location and the hosts. The accommodation is of the highest standard and has everything you need and more. Randall and Jude are so welcoming and thoughtful. On arrival we were welcomed with a basket of goodies, some homemade and on the way home were given some treats for the journey. The location is beautiful and peaceful, a slice of heaven. We were very reluctant to leave and can't wait to return. We would definitely recommend this as a fantastic place to stay.

Staying at The Owl at Chapel Farm was a hoot! My partner and I loved it's quirky stature and the surroundings. Would definately recommend The Owl if you fancy something different The host was very friendly and helpful Would have stayed longer if we had the opportunity.乁(ʘ ◊ ʘ)ㄏ

We had a wonderful stay in old historical house and loved everything about it! Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely living room and kitchen with everything you need. Even fresh flowers on the table. Lots of books about surrounding towns and hiking possibilities. Adorably friendly and helpful hostess.

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

The Bothy is cosy and warm, beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The setting is stunning with a superb outlook on to the garden and fields. Nathalie was there to greet us and could not have been more friendly or welcoming. There were lovely touches of fresh flowers, cake and various other breakfast items and more and we were encouraged to sit out in the garden or by the pond with blankets and cushions provided for comfort. Thank you, Nathalie for a wonderfully relaxing stay in your cottage. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to others!

We had a lovely stay here, it was exactly what we needed for our stay as we were attending a wedding. Callum was a great host with excellent communication he was really accommodating for us. The place was very quirky and very well thought out in how it was equipped with all that was needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Callum. We have to say our favourite thing was Isaac the cat, yes we could stop him visiting but we fell in love with him so let him come and go as he pleased and he spent the night with us with my little one loved. We had a lovely stay and would recommend for a relaxing get away with lovely views. The place had everything we needed for cooking/bbqing and Tim was really helpful with local recommendations and getting us settled.

Wonderful stay at Mallard Lodge, gorgeous surroundings and hot tub ready for us on arrival! Super comfy beds and dark bedrooms, just right for lazy mornings in. Lodge had everything we needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Really hoping we can come stay again soon!

What a beautiful and peaceful retreat! We have just spent an incredible long weekend at Warren Bothy with our dog and really enjoyed the stunning views & local walks. The ‘bothy’ is cosy, charming and rustic - a perfect private back-to-basics escape from the busy everyday. We’re already looking forward to staying again. Thanks Jack & co

Me and my Girlfriend had a great weekend away here. Lovely surroundings lit up by stars at night. The cabin was warm and cosy and extremely clean. Hele was an amazing host, very welcoming and friendly with a great sense of humour. Thank you so much. We definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

What a lovely break we’ve had for a few days in this gorgeous little hideaway. Great to come back to the hot tub after exploring the local beauty spots, even in the rainy weather. Kids loved the games provided and the gorgeous horses. We enjoyed trips to Ludlow (recommend the gin!), Long Mynd for walks and Shrewsbury for a wander around the local shops and fab market.
