Casa magica di fronte all’oceano, appena arrivato sono stato accolto dall’Aurora Boreale, direttamente dal prato di fronte alla casa. È stato un piacere, grazie!

I’ve stayed in many incredibly beautiful Airbnb properties over the years across the world. Bodil and Robert’s cabin “Fredheim” is the best I’ve ever stayed at and they are incredibly kind hosts. Putting aside the absolutely stunning location (which is also centrally located in Lofoten), the cabin is perfectly sized and adorned with everything you might need for a short or long stay. If you want perfection, stay at Fredheim. You won’t regret it.

unfortunately, due to an unforseen last minute event, we had to cancel our booking but Marthe was really responsive and kindly accept to refund us, since the circumstances were very unfortunate for us. I'm looking forward to come back and have a nice stay in Marthe's place.

Beautiful home with amazing view. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare food. The basement bathroom was awesome and we enjoyed the bathtub. However be very careful of the slope going up to the house during winter, if there is ice and snow it may be tricky to drive up.

Die Unterkunft hat alles was man sich wünscht. Alles was sehr sauber und man hat sich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Wir können die Unterkunft auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen. Die Veranda mit geschlossenen Fenstern, was ideal die Nordlichter zu beobachten ( wir hatten das Glück sie an 3 Abenden zu sehen). Wenn wir wieder einmal auf den Lofoten sind, kommen wir sicher wieder hierher.

Flott hytte i fine omgivelser. Til tross for et stort ras som blokkerte hovedveien, hjalp Robert oss med løsninger og stor fleksibilitet. Robert fikset med egne båter som tok oss rundt raset og leiebil som vi fikk tilkjørt på andre siden. Kjempegod service og kommunikasjon. Anbefaler et opphold på hytta. Hyttefeltet er fortsatt under konstruksjon, men det er snart ferdig, så da blir det kjempefint i nærområdet.

Un sitio agradable y muy tranquilo perfecto si tienes la suerte de poder ver auroras. Quizas para 8 personas se quede pequeño pero estuvimos 4 y genial. Cecilie muy amable en todo momento.

Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig und mit einem großartigen Blick gelegen. Man kann ankommen, ein Feuer im Kamin anmachen und genießen. Die Kaffeemaschine (Bohnen waren sogar auch vorhanden 😍) ist großartig. Und auch unseren Wunsch, den Hot Tub benutzen zu können, hat Constantin schon bedacht, in dem das Wasser schon eingefüllt und einmal vorgeheizt war. Sogar unglaubliche Polarlichter direkt über uns konnten wir im warmen Wasser sitzend, beobachten. Ein Traum!

Jannicke and Magnus have a magical cabin where you can see the Aurora directly outside the cabin, and you can even see the Aurora reflected on the water. This cabin can satisfy all the fantasies of Nordic life, kayaking, Jacuzzi & sauna. We bathed in the Jacuzzi while enjoying the Aurora, and even turned off the lights in the sauna to see the Aurora dancing directly. Jannicke and Magnus are very kind. After I booked the cabin, they provided me with very practical information, especially car rental suggestions. AWD is a MUST must in winter. When we checked in, they explained the use and precautions of various facilities in the cabin very carefully. We spent a few days in the cabin and were very reluctant to leave. I hope we can come back here to enjoy it next year.🙂
