Es war die BESTE Unterkunft in der ich je war. Die Traditionen von Island kann man nicht besser kennenlernen. Kein Strom, kein Internet und trotzdem war ich nie Glücklicher in einer Unterkunft von Airbnb :)

Die Unterkunft war unglaublich schön und auch sehr privat. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht und es war super sauber. Bei uns lag noch Schnee, weshalb wir viel Zeit in der Sauna und dem Whirlpool verbracht haben. Wir hatten Glück und konnten uns dort lange aufhalten, weil niemand anderes kam. Abends konnte man noch die Nordlichter sehen, die glücklicherweise richtig toll getanzt haben den Abend!

Great location right at the fiord. We’ve made a barbecue and spent an evening in cozy jacuzzi with an amazing view.

Perfectly clean place, lovely and responsive host, overall all according to description- beautiful view from the window. It was just a stop for us on our way to the north, but we could relax and unwind a bit.

This place is completely secluded from civilization. One hour from town, along an unpaved road. The scenery is stunning and beautiful. This house is at the end of a fjord, in a village of less than 10 people. No stores, restaurants, or traffic!!!! Peaceful and a place in this world to be one with nature. The house is amazing! Beautiful view of the fjord!! Waterfalls in abundance on the drive down and up.

Our encounter with Kjartan started from the point we booked his cabin. He's the kind of host that I really appreciate for his proactive nature to provide assistance to welcome 1st timers like us to Iceland. We got 'lost' trying to find his cabin cos we didn't quite follow his instructions well, hahahh..and he was super super patient. The cabin is very cosy, new and exactly as shown in the pictures. Comfy bed, strong wifi connection, perfect for a good rest after taking in all the sights. More importantly, Kjartan is very responsive, easy to comms and friendly. Thanks for everything, Kjartan! :)

Our family had a wonderful stay here. We walked to the local swimming pool after dinner and had a great time. Would highly recommend!
