Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully provisioned. Perfect rendezvous point for family coming from Traverse City, Houghton, and WNY. Enjoyed a surprisingly sunny spring afternoon on the back porch. A good jumping off point for “up north” attractions, but we were happy to just cook together and visit.

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

All the amenities you could want--kitchen had everything you would need. Lots of family games, toys and books for children. Every room was cozy and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend Melissa as a hostess!

Amazing place to stay. Perfect size, not to big not to small. We had 3 adult males and 1 child and it was perfect. We come up here every year to do some fishing. Looking forward to next year hopefully it will be open.

Beautiful lake house and very clean and well maintained. We went during the off season so the house was perfect to stay in as the kids really enjoyed the game room. Thank you!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

Great stay at Brenda's place, it was my girlfriend's birthday and she left some decorations as well as a hand written card! Very sweet, 10/10 recommend

Heather's spot in Walloon Lake was perfect for my long weekend away. Clean, cozy, and within walking distance of the lake and local restaurants. It's also just a short drive from Petoskey. I enjoyed it very much and would stay again.

The place is exactly as described, great location, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

Rob’s place never disappoints! We’ve stayed in his place numerous times and we always have such an awesome time! With Mammoth right below us, Short’s right down the street and Bee Well across the way, there is always somewhere to get drinks and food. Fireside Lounge on the next block is a great place to go for live music on the weekends too. We walked everywhere, which was super nice. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and is a nice place to come back to after a day of fun!

This is a great place for a family get together. It has plenty of space and amenities.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

Our stay at Blufin Lodge was perfect. We enjoyed having the week with the lodge as our home base for exploring all the sights in the area. We lucked out having arrived during peak leaf season. Driving through the resort was like a dream with all the beautiful fall colors. My husband and I, along with our two daughters, appreciated having our own space to relax after our adventures. The hosts have thought of all the little things you didn’t even know you needed. Cozy and comfortable throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools to cook some of our own meals. Access to the resort amenities was a great addition and we took advantage of the pool many nights. The Lakeview Restaurant offered a great happy hour with spectacular sunset views of Lake Bellaire. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely consider returning to this lovely condo.

Very nice condo. Beautiful kitchen. Great location for skiing Nubs and the Highlands.

Nick's place was great. Super clean and cozy. Electric fireplace was great to have when coming in from the cold. Beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. Would like to point out that for a person who needs a fan( other than a ceiling fan) to sleep, it was nice to see that each bedroom had a box/ oscillating fan in the closet. Might seem trivial...but it meant 2 great nights of sleep for me. 😁 . Location was great. Very close to downtown Boyne City. Cute lil up north town. 10-15 drive to Boyne Mountain. Also very easy and relatively close drive to Charlevoix and Petoskey. Great for a 1/2 day or day trip. Nick was responsive in a timely manner. All was very good. Would stay again for sure.

Cozy fire by the fireplace Friday evening. Extremely convenient location to the Highlands and Nubs. Hot tub in community center after day of skiing. Fun times, good meals, and drinks in downtown Petoskey. Coffee in the morning with deer meandering through woods behind the condo. Condo is a nice set up for a larger group with many nice renovations. Host Shannon was very organized and responsive.

While we did have this booked and we’re very excited to stay here a devastating ice storm took out the properties power. Carrie was very up front about navigating us through her process of when the power would be turned back on. However due to unforeseen circumstances the power did not get restored in time for our stay but Carrie was very helpful in getting us a full refund and also reaching out to Airbnb to speed up the process. My family and I would love to stay here in the future.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was conveniently located. Rick was very responsive and had very clear instructions for us. It was also very clean and tidy!!! I would recommend this to others, and hope to be back sometime. Thank you Rick!!!
