Amazing location. Inger was very helpful with setting up the hot tub and showing us around. It would have been nice to have more towels - when we requested more we did not hear back.

We had a lovely stay and appreciated the proximity to the southern coast sights. The host was very responsive and flexible about our check-in. We previously stayed in the cabin before the new addition, and the new wing of the cabin and the hot tub and deck are wonderful. Comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms, and the perfect amount of space for our family of four to spread out after a day of exploring! A great home base for the south coast!

It was a convenient location for the Vestmannaeyjar Islands (Heimey) and other attractions along the N-1 - Skogafoss, the plane on the beach at Solheimandur, Reynisfjara, etc. Also not a bad drive to Reykjadalur. It was lovely to also feel so out-of-the way and quiet in the evenings after long days of sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. The hot tub heated up in 3 hours just as promised, and the sauna kept us plenty warm while we waited. Very peaceful surroundings and good privacy from neighbors. Great view of the ice sheet. Fantastic.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier, mit 6 Personen. Das Haus ist sehr groß und die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

We absolutely loved this location, such a great way to start our Iceland vacation. We were super lucky to see the Northern lights, even with it being so late in April. The sauna was especially nice to have as an amenity. Definitely recommend if you want to explore south Iceland.

Amazing place with large rooms and space. Quiet and out of the way, cloudy so no aurora sighting but we enjoyed the place. Clean and had almost everything u need in the kitchen.

Clean and comfortable home in the middle of Vik. A short walk to a wonderful burger joint/brewery and the Lava show. This place was ideal for our family with our toddler because it was all one level, a few toys were available and crib and high chair were also available for our use. We hope to visit again.

The house is as described. It is quite small. Not much room for relaxing together in the living room and the bathroom is very small. I’m not saying this as a negative, as it is accurately described, but you should be aware. Also, there is not much to watch in the tv. With that being said, it’s incredibly clean and in a great location for any tour of the south coast. Vik has 3 to 4 restaurants that are near the home and a large tourist center, which has groceries and a large tourist shop. Lena is very responsive to questions.

Beautiful space , very comfy beds and Jon responded quickly with a question I had in the evening.

These cabins have breathtaking surroundings. Beautiful location. All of the necessities you need in accommodations and Ragnar makes you feel like you are at home. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Vik area!

Ragnar is een erg aardige host. Hij vertelde met vol enthousiasme over IJsland en mochten we vragen hebben konden we bij hem terecht. Het huisje was erg schoon en compleet. Er is een tweepersoonsbed in een soort bedstee gemaakt wat je met een gordijn kunt afsluiten. Er is een tweepersoons bedbank en ook nog een 1 persoons uitklapbed beschikbaar. De locatie is fantastisch . Het huisje staat aan het bekende zwarte strand ! Dichterbij kun je niet zitten met je huisje! Vanuit je huisje loop je dus zo het strand op om de omgeving te verkennen. De bekende basaltblokken, en de grot liggen op een paar minuten wandelen, waar je ook uitzicht hebt op de stenen pilaren van Reynisfjara. Bij het strand is een eetgelegenheid waar je prima kunt eten. Het kleine stadje Vik ligt op 10 minuten rijden. Je kunt met de auto in ongeveer 15 minuten naar Dyrholaey rijden waar je de mooie rotsboog kunt zien.

Wir waren eine Nacht in der Unterkunft und rundum zufrieden. Die Unterkunft liegt abgelegen und ruhig, in der Nacht hatten wir das Glück und konnten die Polarlichter sehen.

We loved our time staying at this beautiful farm! It was so peaceful and beautiful. Martina and Jon are kind, interesting, lovely hosts and it was wonderful to chat with them over breakfast. It’s in a great location, just a few minutes from restaurants and attractions. We would definitely return. Thank you for a beautiful stay!!

Good spot to stop and rest before continuing on to the next destination on the island

We absolutely adore this place and have just been back for a second stay. The location is magic. The cabin is super charming, clean, cosy, welcoming and full of character. It is lovely to see that past guests have left behind little things to add to the decor and make it feel very special. The privacy and middle of nowhere feeling you get there are amazing. There are only two points we feel worth mentioning as little downsides to this cabin: The shower is tiny - it is more like something you'd find in a small caravan. The two single beds are very narrow and for some adults maybe not a very comfortable choice. All in all we'd never let those facts keep us from coming back. We LOVE this place.

El alojamiento es muy acogedor y confortable. Estaba muy bien equipado. En mitad del bosque, súper tranquilo. Era lo que buscábamos. Muchas gracias!!
