Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Neels Cottage in Rocklands

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

Comfy Chalet situated next to the biedouw river

This unique and charming chalet is self Cathering equipped, have a lounge lounge area, braii , terrace and parking ideal lovers. The Cheetah you see here is called Iziba, during your stay you have a high chance to meet her. Not that we are not supporting animal exploitation and our cheetah is not part of any “package” or oblige in any ways to meet our visitors . Located in the Golden Mile Boulevard, this beachfront thatch roof property welcomes you with open arms to experience the magic of Brittania Bay. Hosting a luxuriously fitted kitchen, pizza oven, open-plan living and dining room, opening up to the undercover patio and braai area. The cabin is situated in a easy access ravine, giving you the ultimate in privacy and isolation from the hustle and bustle of the outside word while enjoying the heart of the Cederberg. Perfect for a two person getaway weekend, or longer. . . Guests have access to the whole of the 25ha property where the cabin is located. This includes the bouldering area, and short bike/hiking trails.

The villa consists of: Wood fired Hot Tub. Wood can be purchased on site. Free standing braai with grid and utensils. Basic kitchenette with fridge, 2 plate stove, kettle, toaster. Running water and wash basin. Camp style cutlery & crockery. Upcycled lounge with table & chairs. 1 x Bell tent (king size bed). 2 x Dome tents (two single beds). Linen: sheets, pillows blankets (NOT DUVET). Sleeps 6 in total. Communal bathrooms are fitted with showers, basin and toilets.
