The home was very clean and comfortable and anything we needed was provided. It is quite spacious yet sitting in the living room at night with the gas fireplace turned on was so cozy. Sitting on the back porch was peaceful and serene - total bliss. Gloria is a wonderful host and I would recommend staying here and hope to again.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

We had such a great time and loved the cabin! The beds were comfy, cabin was cozy and we met some wonderful people! Everything that we needed was there. From firewood, skewers, lighters, etc! We were truly able to settle in and relax. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends! Thank you for booking us with such short notice too!

Don and Renie’s place was perfect for my weekend getaway back to WCU. As a host, Don was perfect and accommodating. The views were spectacular and the amenities provided were superb. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit WCU.

George and Deborah were awesome hosts. George even came down the hill to get us when we were lost. He also helped me try to find a motorcycle shop to get a tire after I got a nail in my back tire! They really are great people. And Deborah’s blueberry muffins were off the chart! Definitely coming back next year God willing and the creek don’t rise! 😀

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was great. It was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was awesome. There were some games there and books. The beds were a little firm, but that is not an issue for me. They are memory foam mattresses and not inner spring mattresses which I greatly appreciate. There were starter packs of things to get us going (soap, DW soap, laundry detergent, etc). The TV is only connected to direct TV. So no streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Little to no wifi signal at the cabin. Had to go up to the entrance gate at the property to get wifi signal. But most importantly, the location was amazing! 2 min drive to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, could even be walked. Same for downtown Bryson City, which is adjacent to the railroad station. Cute little downtown with lots of little shops. 15 min drive to Deep Creek for tubing and easy waterfall hike. 20min drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Center. 22 min drive to Dillsboro. So great location to hit lots of cool places. I would definitely stay here again!

I work remote and rented Damien's home for a month to disconnect and get away from big city life for a little, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This airbnb was perfect for me and my pup. It has a creek and hiking trail on the massive property which makes for extremely pleasant dog walks. I never had an issue with the Starlink wifi (and I had a lot of devices connected and take zoom meetings all day) while the home is super private and secluded, the town of Franklin with everything you need is less than 10mins away. No complaints about this house or homeowner, one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever and I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 would recommend!

This place was great! It was nice to plan a surprise trip for some of my family and they all really enjoyed this private castle in the woods. The hosts were great and responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. We were able to conveniently go to a few smaller towns nearby and we would definitely return.

Location was great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I originally booked a different property with BCCR, but a representative contacted me the morning of my check-in to let me know the hot tub wasn’t working at that property. They gave me several alternative options to choose from that were available and had working hot tubs. I was not charged more for the switch even though the one I chose was slightly more expensive. My stay ended up being very pleasant despite it not going as planned, and I was impressed by BCCR’s prompt and helpful communication. The gifted bottle of champagne for NYE was also a nice touch. I would recommend BCCR and the Snuggle Inn to friends and family.
