Spent a weekend at Michael’s place and it was a perfect get away for my family and I. It was a beautiful area, peaceful, and relaxing. The town was cute to explore and we also enjoyed hiking at Brasstown Bald. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was cozy. There was a also a friendly dog I named Gracie (not her name) who would come and visit us. We also enjoyed the dock and watching the sunset. Michael was an amazing host and we will be visiting again.

Hot Showers, Cozy Living Room, easy to find. We appreciated the hot showers the most after a long day on the trails. Three of us showered and never lost hot water. The living room was cozy, with 2 recliners to kick up our feet after hiking and our little one enjoyed the board games while we relaxed, which was a much needed reprieve. While this Airbnb appears to be in the deep country, the town of Franklin is right around the corner. We were late to dinner so had to eat at a place called Mixers- where it was karaoke night. Although more of a bar and pool hall, we were fed well. Philly Steak pizza, big juicy cheeseburgers, and a fried chicken salad with ranch. We even danced before we left. We didn’t stay late because we had our kid. Food Lion was also nearby and open if we had we opted to cook. The front porch was a lovely place to enjoy coffee, morning sounds & roosters crowing. Our four year old was able to run down to the pond and catch a fish before we headed back out.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. We truly didn’t want to leave! Every detail from the sparkling clean interior to the stunning views reflected the love and care that was put into this place. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for, and then some. We made so many wonderful memories and captured some gorgeous photos that we’ll treasure forever.

Scott was responsive to all requests/concerns we had during our stay. The amenities are A+ and the cabin is very spacious with multiple areas to congregate or separate! With the exception of hiking Station Cove Falls trail, attending a Christmas Eve service, and fishing at a childhood fishing spot, we found that the amenities of this cabin were very sufficient for the 5 days we were there. An important detail to note on this review is that the bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The other 3 bedrooms are up a very steep flight of stairs. The room with the king-sized bed does not have a single bed, as indicated on the site. For my family of 6 adults, we found that this cabin sleeps only 5 comfortably. There are 2 cots, one on the upper level and one on the basement level along with a futon-style sofa. Scott has put a lot of thought into making this property a vacation home waiting to make special memories for families who stay here!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. We had an amazing stay at Corey’s cabin! Corey was very polite and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was peaceful and perfectly situated right in front of the lake, offering stunning sunrises and sunsets. We also appreciated that he had everything you could possibly need to enjoy the place, including kayaks and a canoe with all the necessary safety equipment for a tranquil ride on the lake. It was the ideal spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature. The surrounding areas were fantastic for walking, with plenty of breathtaking scenery, all without needing to drive for more than 30 minutes. We left feeling refreshed and would absolutely recommend this getaway to anyone looking for a serene escape. Can’t wait to return! 🌿🏞️

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.
