Private deck with ocean views of the Pell Bridge and Newport. Cottage is located on property adjacent to Host Home so privacy limited.

There is a four post king size reclaimed wood bed with an amazing second floor view of the entire circular lavender field. There is also an open kitchen/living room area with a view of 4,000+ lavender plants. You will be surrounded by custom-picked imported Italian granite selections. The sinks in the suite feature amethyst geodes.

Here you'll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, and ice cream, plus excellent community theater, yoga, and interesting shops. Relax inside this light-filled home or sit out on the deck overlooking the gardens and town.

It is within walking distance from the quaint New England main street of Wakefield where you will find many shops and restaurants. You are also within 10 minutes driving distance to many beautiful beaches, a short drive to Newport and a ferry ride to Block Island. You can have all kinds of seaside adventures while coming home to your quiet country cottage.

You have the option to take the bike path to many beaches and Narragansett Pier or walk two blocks to Main Street Wakefield for a morning coffee at Caf Bar, Phils or South Country Bread Company and post beach ice cream at Brickley's.

This cozy space is very private, comfortable and newly appointed. It is a finished basement in our home so it is owner occupied but it offers a separate exterior entrance so our guests can decide if they’d like to meet us or not. We are approximately a mile from the Narragansett town beach, a stones throw from the bike path and public tennis and bocce courts and walking distance to town, restaurants and shops. Newport is just a 20 minute drive. So come be our guest!
