Cosy Cottage in Smithfield

Unwind by the fire in this cosy cottage centrally located in Smithfield, one of Dublin's most historic neighbourhoods and voted the 2nd coolest neighbourhood on the planet by TimeOut magazine in 2023. Located just a couple of minutes walk from Smithfield Square which boasts an array of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a cinema as well as one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the world, Jameson's. Located just 10 minutes' walk to the city centre and around the corner from the Luas tram.

Resembling a Tuscan Farmhouse this 200 years old coach house is simply irresistible. The building was elegantly restored after lying dormant for decades. Its situated to the rear of a private home and only 10 mins walk from Ranelagh and 15 mins from Ballsbridge. Peaceful and charming you wont want to leave…. Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

Charming Stoneybatter cottage

Named the coolest place in Ireland by TimeOut, Stoneybatter has many great cafés, restaurants, pubs & shops, & is just a 20min walk from the city centre. This 2-bed cottage is available as a 1-bed space, & can accommodate 1-2 people. NB: this is my home & is only available on occasion. You may find some of my belongings, food & drinks here - some guests may prefer a space solely set up as a short-term rental. Also, a dog lives here, so may not be the best fit for those with allergies.

Many of Dublin's top restaurants and cafes are within 500 meters and it's just 1 kilometre to the popular shopping area of Grafton St, South City Centre. The house is a bright and quaint space, newly decorated and comfortable with a little outdoor patio area.

Cook dinner in the designer kitchen, and then head out to enjoy the attractions of the city. CAVEAT: This is a city centre location, definitely NOT 'leafy suburbia'...Guests should be aware that there is potential for noise- both from the street, and ambient noise within the house. Old houses, by their very nature, are not sound-proof...

With an average of 28m² of space, our luxurious Locke Studios have it all (and more). There’s room to relax, with a 150cm x 200cm UK king-size bed and one-of-a-kind, handmade sofa. Space to live, with a fully-equipped kitchen including a dining table, washer/dryer, dishwasher and lots of designer cooking gear. Plus all the Locke perks, including air-conditioning, a super-strong rainfall shower with Kinsey Apothecary toiletries, private Wi-Fi and a Smart HDTV for streaming.

The exterior and interior of this new garage conversion has been tastefully designed to blend in with the main coach house that dates back to 1846. A very peaceful location surrounded by beautiful gardens, a courtyard and the Delgany heritage walking trail. 5min walk from charming village of Delgany, friendly local pubs, village market, craft butcher, chemist, coffeeshops, restaurants and supermarket.

The following is what past guests have said that they love about this property; Guests commented on how old world and elegent it looks. You have a sense of being in the country with birds and squirrels in the trees but yet you are only 10 minutes to the airport and 10 minutes to the city centre. Everyone adored our closeness to the phoenix park..There are many activities in the park including the zoo, the hop on hop off bus, segways, rent a bike to name a few.
