Spacious and comfortable home filled with the owners treasures. Great trails for walking, running and biking behind the house. Short walk in to Nelson city. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook at home, including homegrown veges and citrus from Hilma’s garden. Deck is lovely to relax on and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. Beautiful outlook. Hilma is a great host and was quick to respond when I had some queries. As well as the trails we enjoyed frisbee golf in the nearby park which is also dog friendly - you can hire discs from MD Outdoors. Had a delicious dinner at Nahm (short drive from house) and great coffee and breakfast at Bobby Franks Cafe (walkable). Connings Pop Up great for fresh fruit and vege.

This was our second stay at Kaye and Kevin's house. It is in an beautiful location with wide valley views. The house is well laid out with every comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms have excellent showers. There is a great outdoor living area. Kaye and Kevin are wonderful hosts and we fully recommend a stay in their comfortable home.

My family and I recently stayed at this wonderful home, and we were thoroughly impressed. The house is warm and charming, full of character, and the gardens are beautiful. One of the highlights was the direct access to the river walkway right from the front door, which made for lovely strolls and wonderful hikes. The location is unbeatable—close to local attractions, shopping, and dining—while still providing the feel of a tranquil retreat. The amenities were top-notch, and the hosts were attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re a fan of Art Deco design and looking for a place that combines style and convenience, this home is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Amazing place…have not had a better view. Definitely need a AWD to get up the hill, but host (Tamarin) made sure that she communicated that before confirming booking. Property has a cat, onyx, very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Huge property to wander around, see sheep, cattle and feed chickens.

This place had everything as listed - place was even more spacious and inviting than the photos show! Super friendly and responsive host, spotless place with plenty of room for a group booking. Went down with my family for a wedding and would stay again in a heart beat!! The morning views with your coffee in hand were a highlight!

We Loved our stay at Gemma’s place, the house had everything we needed, our 4 yr old loved the yard and toy boxes. Photos don’t do it justice, the view and house are lovely

We very much enjoyed our stay at Shelley’s house. It is spacious and easy for a family to relax in. The location on top of the hill offers great views and is a good base for activities in the area. Shelley is a helpful host and easy to communicate with.

Peace, quiet and gorgeous surroundings sums up our stay. The swimming pool was perfect after a hot day and we could walk to a small cafe through the vineyards for early coffee. Also in walking distance shops providing all our needs and fresh fruit and vegetables locally grown with a really good cafe for lunches. Lars and Sam were perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home.

Great comfy house very comfortable for 2 families with young kids. Lots to do at the house plus close to activities and amenities.

Great place to stay overnight before getting the Picton ferry. Easy check in, great hospitality and really convenient location for what we needed!

Probably one of the most comfortable and well appointed places we have stayed at. There has clearly been a lot of thought out into making this place a great place to stay. We appreciate the extra things, eggs, treats, etc. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Not too far from Nelson and surrounding attractions but feels amazingly private and peaceful - and we loved being able to say hello to the cows! Pool was a great facility for hot summer afternoons and the cottage had everything we needed and nice spacious rooms.

A perfect retreat! I couldn't ask for more from a host, Annitta and Shelly are truly above and beyond.

This was our second stay at Bex & Nicks place. Again it was great for us being a large group with kids. Heaps of toys, bikes and space to keep the kids occupied. While also being a great place for an the adults. Its a beautiful place, that feels very quiet and peaceful tucked away on the hillside, but it's still very close to the city centre.

Mein Freund und ich hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung in der Anzeige. Der Zugang zum See war wirklich traumhaft. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great location just a short walk from grocery stores, cafes and the Maitai river. Also within easy riding distance of the bike trails. It was great to have access to the garage for storing our bikes and there was plenty of room in the house. We'll be back!

We had a great stay. Beautiful location, and great amenities. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. The location is right at the base of great mountain biking and hiking trails. I would highly recommend this airbnb!

Clean and modern home super close to central Nelson! The hosts accommodated us last minute after an emergency and were very responsive with such little notice, the house was spotless and very welcoming and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, the only slightly imperfect part was the TV being a bit outdated and hard to use so be aware that only miracast will work spottily and there’s no AirPlay or chromecast available, only Sky will play on the TV itself. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful peaceful surrounding area, and super lovely house inside and out. I really enjoyed my stay and would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the inside and outside areas but sadly was travelling for work. Extremely well decorated and appointed with everything you could need and friendly and relaxed hosts. Highly recommend and would love to go back!

Perfect location to explore Nelson! Easy keyless access to the property. Clean and clutter free with all the amnesties you will need (we stayed for a month). Additional cleaning/linen change was offered due to our extended stay which was a great bonus at no extra cost. Friendly team who are easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The views are great - especially for sunrise/sunset. Friendly, quiet neighbours. Overall a great stay - highly recommend!

This is a first class property with a spectacular view. It has all the facilities / equipment that you need to make your stay enjoyable. There are a number of bars / restaurants in the Tahunanui district which are within 1 km of the property. It is an easy downhill walk to get to them but quite a climb on the journey home!. The property is in a good location with Nelson town centre only 10 minutes away by car and the airport is also only 10 minutes away. All in all an excellent place to stay.
