The original homestead dates pre 1880 and has since been uniquely remodeled by the late John Gosney - a local icon and world famous in Nelson for his creative landscaping. Overlooking Tasman Bay, Nelson Haven, Boulder Bank, Mountains of the Abel Tasman National Park and Garden - Home to native birds eg Tui and Piwakawaka. Tranquil base to relax and explore the region. 400m from the coastal walking/cycle trail. City 5 min drive, 40 min walk, 15 min bike ride.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

A peaceful spacious room for women to relax (or adventure out) in a quiet street close to CBD. Own entrance, shower & toilet. Double bed and comfortable king-single fold down futon. Listed for one person, please inquire regarding extra guests. Bay window with lovely garden outlook, plenty of storage, and space for you to prepare and enjoy breakfast or snacks. As I am taking extra care with cleaning in these Covid times, my expectation is that you will be vaccinated.

It is 10 minutes walk to supermarkets, cafes, takeaways and town . Recently renovated everything is crisp and new with a smart tv and air conditioning . There is outdoor seating and off road parking . We live upstairs and are happy to help you enjoy your time here in Nelson.
