This place is an absolute treasure. I stayed here with with few friends and we've all stayed in Airbnbs many times over the years. Without question, each one of us felt it was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Beyond the rustic beauty and spaciousness of the house itself, the lovely hot tub, and the gorgeous lake next to the property - the place is full of thoughtful touches you just don't expect - like free kayaks for the lake, great books to read, an air fryer, fun games, a bluetooth speaker, and many other little amenities that make it the perfect getaway spot. Jodi is very responsive and helpful. Can't recommend it enough, and can't wait to return someday!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Drue & Rene’s cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with my partner. The cottage was so cute, cozy, and charming and exactly as pictured - we enjoyed the hot tub, grabbing yummy food at fudenjuice in town, and going for a walk. The property was so peaceful and quiet, and we will definitely be back ! :)

We spent two great nights in your beautiful house with our group. Even though we had 17 people, we had plenty of space. We enjoyed the serenity of nature around it with cozy swings. Thank you for a lot of blankets, great towels, relaxing jacuzzi. Even though it was raining that weekend, we had a great time thanks to your wonderful care. The kitchen was super stocked with plenty of utensils to use. The bathroom had plenty of condiments and very well stacked as well. Overall, your cozy place provided all of us the comfort we needed. Thank you for a great stay surrounded by nature.

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

Kalery’s place is super unique with the cabin / yurt combo! The place feels secluded but is a short drive from Grass Valley & Nevada City where there are a ton of restaurants and fun bars. We loved relaxing on the back patio listening to the nearby creek and spending time in the hot tub. The place was super cozy /clean and we had all the info we needed for a seamless stay. Would def visit again!

The place was perfect for a weekend getaway and we truly enjoyed our stay. The creek is beautiful and the deck is perfect to hang out on while listening to nature. The hot tub was so relaxing. The place is at a perfect location to get to the heart of Nevada City by walking making getting places so easy. It was so clean and comfortable. We did have to move some of the decor so our toddler couldn’t access it (and break it) but we did and all was well!

We had a wonderful time, 4 girl friends, 1 child, 3 dogs! A fantastic weekend away to visit friends close by for a birthday. We got a sunny day and a stormy day and both were perfect for this house. Enjoy it all weathers. We made the most of the hot tub, cooked together in the kitchen, played games and watch some VHS! Cozy peaceful sleeps. Beds comfy, lots of towels available and bathroom amenities. We will definitely be staying again.

We had an amazing stay! The home was modern, spotless, and perfectly designed for a comfortable getaway. The surrounding forest was absolutely beautiful and gave the whole place a peaceful, secluded feel. We also loved the fun amenities like the net and basketball court— really fun for kids. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin. It was so cozy and perfect for a little family getting away. It made a huge difference for us that it was pet friendly and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly! We felt right at home! We look forward to going back again someday!

This was our second stay at the Sweetheart ranch and it was just as great as the first one. Clean and comfortable house, beautiful surroundings and very kind and helpful hosts. My 4 year old son had such a great time exploring the property and “helping” Marilyn with the horses, sheep, cows and chickens that we only left the place once in 3 days! We love this place and we will be back.

The surroundings were stunning, and we felt completely at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a charming getaway.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We were impressed by the craftsmanship of the home and deck (we both have construction backgrounds). It was very private and peaceful. Beautiful views of tall oaks around the deck. Hosts were very sweet and responsive. We frequently use air bnb and this was one of the best locations we have ever stayed at. Very close to downtown Nevada City and great dining/small shops. But our favorite part was just enjoying time using the spa amenities and unplugging. Host provided slippers and a speaker for spa which was great. We even got some sweet snuggles from their orange cat Ginger who checked in on us (which we loved). The only downside was that the next day was already booked and we couldn’t stay longer. Looking forward to an extended visit here in the future.

A lot of attention to detail was what I noticed. When I arrived, everything I needed and wanted was right there, even things that are important like a super comfortable bed, with high-quality linens. The place was adorable, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for what I needed, I’ll definitely be back again.

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

Firstly, the location - it is just a stunning forest location that's next to a unique historic feature suitable for easy walking - the Cascade Canal -built over 140 years ago & still serving water to the county. Next, the Cabin - it is beautifully presented, spacious & comfortable for two couples plus a precious grandbaby & the kitchen/living areas gave us the opportunity to have some memorable family times. Lastly, Robert's service - despite never seeing anyone in person, anytime we had a question, Robert was straight onto it & we were able to get on with our holiday. Truly one of our best holidays!

We loved being at this cabin for 2 months. It was comfortable for our family of four. Our kids enjoyed the property tremendously it’s a beautiful piece of land not too far from downtown and close to the river. It had everything we needed and the host was great. We will recommend it to family coming into town for visits.

Me and my family had a great time at Nancy's place. We loved the cabin, it was perfect for us. Lots of space to hang out and beautiful view. It was so quiet and peaceful there. The downstairs family room and bedroom were perfect for my 2 grandsons to hang out while we rested in the upstairs area with very comfortable sofas & a nice wood stove. The mattresses were also very comfortable . We loved playing pool and pingpong!. Nancy is an excellent host, she always replied fast to my questions and was very helpful. With a large kitchen, with everything we needed for cooking and serving our Thanksgiving dinner! The surrounding area and her yard were beautiful with all the trees. We enjoyed our walks to the Big lake and also to the smaller lake, both near the cabin, which I recommend everyone to go. We will definitely book it again if we go to visit that area in the future. It was very dog friendly too which I appreciated very much! Thank you!

We have been to the Bass Kickin Cabin many times and we just love it. We love fishing in the pond and the kids love the paddle boat. Sitting at the table on the covered dock in the evening watching the sun setting and all the migratory birds flying by is a real treat. It’s a short trip to the Yuba river and not too far from Bullards Bar for boating and picnicking. The Holiday Market is a lovely store to get all the fixings you need for meals. We always look forward to spending time at the Bass Kickin Cabin.

My partner, our 2 small dogs and I had an amazing vacation at Emily’s place; we ended up extending our stay as we fell in love with the space and the area. The private creek was the highlight of our stay; it is such a peaceful relaxing and beautiful spot. We had breakfast on the patio every morning and loved soaking in forest views, smells and creek sounds. There were people staying at the main house, but we only saw them when they were driving by; so overall it was quite private and our dogs had plenty of space to roam. The studio itself was very clean, airy, cozy, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious. We loved the skylights and giant windows; waking up to the sight of greenery was such a treat. It’s clear that Emily has put a lot of thought into setting up this space. Emily had great communication, and was very accommodating. I forgot my headphones when we were leaving, and they kindly arranged to mail them. We’ll certainly be back.
