A perfect weekend getaway where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the peaceful back patio, relax then take a short 7 minute walk to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. There's an outdoor shower, parking for 2 cars, washer/dryer, and a sleep number mattress to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. Morvoren Cottage is just 4 blocks from the water and a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown with private off-street parking. Have a drink on your private porch then catch a concert at the Live Oak Pavilion or Greenfield Lake. Nearby is the Castle Street District with tasty eateries and brunch! Plus, it's just a 20 minute drive to Wrightsville or Carolina Beaches!

Recently remodeled!! Thanks for looking at my beach cottage! The house is only 4 blocks to the ocean and located right behind the lake where you will find a sidewalk around the lake for easy beach access. There is a farmers market around the lake every Saturday in the summer! This is a great house in an excellent location perfect for families and those that want to bring their fur babies. The backyard is large and fenced in. Fur babies are welcome with a one time $50 pet fee. No cats.

Near the Independence Mall Shopping Area and two miles from the vibrant Historical Downtown with music and dining choices. A scenic 4.5 mile paved walking or jogging trail runs by the Lake House and circles the lake. You are 30 minutes away from our two beautiful beaches. There are lots of sights and attractions nearby, but you are located in a place of peace and quiet.

There's also a Keurig with a variety of coffee pods for your enjoyment. The queen sofa bed sleeps 2 comfortably. No pets are allowed.

We would like to extend a warm Southern welcome to all of our Guests staying in Wilmington's "Jungle Room." The separate Guest room is set in a beautiful tropical garden full of interesting and fascinating plants-palms, staghorn ferns, colorful bromeliads, and many more. One of our hobbies is propagating these plants because of their beauty and overall dramatic effect. If we've done it right, you can easily imagine you are in a tropical rain forest right here in Southeastern NC!

When staying at the Carriage House, the beach and Wilmingtons' attractions are yours for the taking. The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. Snowbirds and travel nomads know that Wilmington is wonderful year round!
