It’s really hard to put into words the experience we had during our stay, but we’re going to give it a shot… Because Jennifer & Greg absolutely deserve it. If you’re looking for something different, this place is 100% worth it. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy quality time with friends while also finding moments to clear your mind and let your thoughts wander. Whether you’re into outdoor activities and want to explore the surroundings, or you’re more of an introvert who’d rather just soak in the artistic details and unique atmosphere of the house, there’s something for everyone. The first thing my friends and I said when we arrived was, “We have to come back.” And we truly hope we can make that happen soon.

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb in the mountains. I’m normally at the beach. I have never had a host go so far above and beyond what they have to do to make sure their guests are taken care of. This was one of the most relaxing places I have ever been. I literally heard two cars on the road during my whole stay. I have already added this to my favorites list. I was up there working so I will be going back when I’m not working and it’s the type of place where you stop and get your groceries on the way in and you never have to leave. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in my life! He provides bath salts for the hot tub, and then the sauna has all types of scents that you can put in your water. All the water in the lodge is springwater that comes directly from the mountain behind and I got to come home with my skin feeling so soft! If you want peace and quiet, David’s Redwood Lodge has it all! Excellent host with an excellent property!

Mary's place was amazing. she communicated throughout the whole booking. she informed there was no stores nearby to grab something from Walmart in the next city over. she also gave recommendations for restaurants and take out places in the area. we talked about how my kids are going to be spending Easter there with us and she got an Easter basket and filled up some eggs with candy on top of the welcome basket of goodies she already offered.

This truly was the most fantastic get away. The cabin and property were immaculate. Having full use of the hot tub at this price point was a huge draw. Gas grill, flat top and smoker available for our use and Eddie even fired up the grill and got the barbque tools for us. Great conversation with Eddie and family, they were present to socialize and help as needed but not invasive at all. They thought of everything with this rental, I cannot think of a thing I would change. Relaxing country place with little creek is a perfect place to unwind.

Rick and Pat’s house was amazing! We loved every second of it, from the large peaceful yard filled with deer, to the outside fire pit, comfy beds and super clean, lovely house! Loved our whole vacation and didn’t want to leave. Owners are very personable and communicative (quick to respond)We can’t wait to come back again to this amazing home! Thank you for sharing your home and a great stay!

Cute little cottage! Loved being near the river and the porch swings were perfect to relax on. They had decorated the home for Easter and it was adorable!

Another great stay for us at Breezy Hill! We all, our pup included, always feel like this spot is home away from home. Danielle is by far our favorite hostess!

Another peaceful stay at the farm - beautiful animals, lovely sunset, quiet and calm area. The kids loved the friendly dogs and just looking at the horses is joyful. Tricia and Logan and everyone we saw was friendly and kind. In reading some other tennis, let me just remind you - this is a barn apartment on a working farm. Yes some things are rustic but everything works and it's a fantastic connection to nature and animals here. We will be back!

The accessibility ramp to the beautifully landscaped house was a huge help to my Mother who uses a walker. The bathroom isn't next to the bedroom so it was a little bit of a walk for her but it was big and had a handrail at the toilet which really helped her. The house was big enough for us and had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed celebrating Easter weekend with meals and board games at the big kitchen table. Also everything we needed for food preparation and serving was there with a good sized refrigerator for storing leftovers. The beautiful yard was great for an egg hunt and corn hole games, which we brought with us. At night it was nice to sit at the firepit roasting s'mores or just looking at the stars.

This was probably the most comfortable I have ever been at an AirBNB. The location was safe and peaceful and the home was immaculate. Truly enjoyed my stay. :)

Absolutely loved our stay !! Had a little hiccup upon arrival however David went above and beyond to make up for that! The cottage was even better than the pictures. The fenced in porch & yard were so convenient for our fur baby. The location was perfect, right across from the park. A/C worked perfectly and allowed us to remain worry free about our fur baby while attending a family event at the park. We will be back in the future ! Can’t recommend enough ! ☺️

Me and friends had a wonderful time staying at this place for Roanoke College Alumni weekend. Very close to campus and very clean with plenty of space to go around for everyone. If it is still available next year I would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Barbara's place for 3 months. The house was great and had plenty of room. Perfect. Enjoyed the back deck watching the horses and enjoying the view. The house was very clean and comfortable. Barbara was a gracious host. She was very easy to communicate with. Always making sure we were ok and if there was anything we needed. But always respecting our privacy and space. Even though we were close to town you felt like you were in the country. We loved the local golf courses. Barbara's abundance of fresh organic tomatoes and zucchini was a real treat. We would definitely consider returning if available for a lengthy stay. Barbara was a super host. Thank you.

We came for a wedding in the area. So thankful for a pleasant place to stay. The price was good and the cottage was very clean and decorated so nice. The beds were very comfortable. It felt like home. I have allergies and I sometimes have a hard time with dust and air fresheners and I had no problem. Our host was really really quick to get back with us. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone!!

This property was the best location and value for us in our 50 years of travel. We visited our family in Fincastle, VA over Christmas. Barb was a gracious host and made sure that all of our expectations were met. The accomodations were extremely clean and well stocked with premium quality everyday products such as toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen items, linens, etc. Host even dropped off a gift on Christmas Day. Beautiful property and surroundings. We look forwarding to returning to visit our family in Fincastle and staying at this house. Than's Barb for helping provide an unforgetable experience.

Lindsay's place was absolutely beautiful. Everything was just as pictured. My best friend and I had a peaceful weekend surrounded by stunning views. The New River Trail is right up the road for easy hiking/walking. The town of Draper itself is very small, but there are cute shops and a restaurant where everyone was icnredibly kind. Lindsay was a great host. She was super responsive and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic property. The photos don’t do it justice. Great location - rural and peaceful setting near good trails and Rising Silo, and an easy drive to the campus and downtown Blacksburg. Can’t say enough great things about this property!

Great location from downtown. Beautiful fall weekend. Enjoyed the Solo fire pit at night. Clean, well equipped, good instructions.
