I can’t say enough about what a gem this cottage is! Everything you need and more in the house, comfy beds and couches, amazing neighbours, private beach, million dollar views, lots of privacy, great fire pit. Everything was absolutely perfect !! I rang in my 40th year on the ocean and I could not have asked for a better place to do so. Our 3 kids had the time of their lives too, so many great memories made :)

This home and location were stellar. The view was lovely. The bed was cozy and the soap and shampoo were nice in that they were not heavily scented. Loved the beach walks

A Perfect Beachside Escape! I recently stayed at this charming homestay near the beach, and it was nothing short of amazing! The location is unbeatable—just a few steps from the shore, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views right from the balcony. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of the waves at night—it was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the local tips and delicious homemade breakfast offered each morning. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside retreat. Will definitely come back again!

Somewhere Brighter Beach Shack was perfect for our visit to Leading Tickles. The place is clean and comfortable, walking trails are nearby as well. I highly recommend staying here

Fantastic place to stay in L’anse aux Meadows. Even nicer than pictures convey. Truly walking distance to Norstead and Visitor Center. A few steps to Adirondack chairs overlooking beautiful view. Saw Ptarmigans browsing in the yard at dusk (cool bird). Had great meal at Norseman. Highly recommend both house and restaurant.

The Beach House was relaxing and comfortable for our family of four. There were multiple hikes nearby (the Coastal Ridge trail is no joke!) and others a short drive away (strongly recommend taking a hike in Salvage). The beach was just a short walk down a grassy path and the deck and yard provided a great space for outdoor eating or morning coffee. The house had a ton of board games and, though there is a dryer, we used the clothes line a lot and found it efficient. The town had several places to check out (the ice cream/coffee shop in Sandringham was our favorite—they also offered take home meals). Penney was helpful and friendly as were several locals and neighbors we met during our stay. This was our first stop in our Newfoundland adventure and was just perfect. The house, location and host were all fantastic.

This is a great accomodation. It can fit in many people and is affordable. It was quite clean and had everything you need for a short stay. We have been disturbed by load talks over the kitchen wall, but it is not a problem if you have a company of your own :3

A truly special place -- actually two places (we rented the home & adjacent bungalow, total 5 br & 5 ba). Gorgeous views, comfortable layout, peaceful environs, thrilling hikes across challenging cliffs. Exactly what our smallish group of four wanted. For a spectacular, rugged, outdoor experience, I doubt there's a better spot to be found anywhere.

Une maison centenaire ainsi que son ameublements mais très propre et bien équipé pour pouvoir ce faire de bons repas !!! Facile de se rendre en motoneige à la maison car le sentier de motoneige passe très proche de la maison!! Je recommande cette maison !!!

Tout était parfait ! Le chalet était très propre et Nadia a été une très bonne hôte. Nous recommandons!

Nice place, quiet , peaceful

La maison est très agréable et il y a beaucoup de rangement disponible pour nos effets personnels. Les lits sont confortables et les chambres assez grandes. La vue sur l'eau est très jolie! Nous avon eu des réponses très rapidement et très cordiales de la part des hôtes au besoin.

Conveniently located home on a quiet residential street. There's a bus stop right across the street, and its a very easy drive to downtown. I felt comfortable and "at home" from the moment I walked in. Beautiful home, extremely clean and tidy. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Deborah’s place! It was a beautiful house nestled in a quiet, tranquil spot right by the beach. We spent our days taking in the breathtaking beauty of English harbour, whale watching at trinity and doing all the scenic hikes around Deborah’s place. The house was immaculate and very well maintained. Deborah’s instructions to find the Airbnb were excellent and all her suggestions for things to do and places to eat at were great too! Would recommend and will go back!
