This is a lovely compact gem of a place. We loved the fact that it was up on the hill overlooking the town of Champney's West. Having breakfast from the window gave us such a great start to the day. The fact that it is right on the Fox Island hiking trail was a bonus so we could start and return to our place without needing to drive! Close proximity to a great restaurant at Fishers Loft and 2 Whales coffee shop. Just a wonderful trip!

Beautiful cottage on the ocean with the most stunning views. The cottage was very clean and our hosts were super responsive to questions we had about the area, recommendations etc. Would certainly visit again !

This was a return visit to the Red Shed - and honestly, isn't the best review that you go back again? :) It's very well located, charming inside and out, and well equipped so the stay is very comfortable. Justin is a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended.

The view from this place is unmatched! It is so peaceful and cozy and was exactly what we needed for a week of hiking in Gros Morne. The homemade cookies were a sweet touch, and getting to know some of the local business owners was a highlight. Make sure you eat at the Merchant and catch local music at the pottery store!

Easily one of my favourite spots on the Avalon. Possibly the best deck in Newfoundland, too. Jenny's place is bliss. The view is unreal, the kitchen is glorious (a huge, sturdy kitchen table, deep sinks, lots of counter space -- I love cooking there!) And her backyard is the Bear Cove Path, which takes you through lush woods and along the coast. There's even a shipwreck. When can I move in?

Wonderful stay! Beautiful, comfortable, cozy place. We all loved the Super Nintendo system. Meticulously clean. Beautiful wall art and fantastic location!

Shylo’s house is so beautifully kept with a perfect mix of traditional Newfoundland charm and modern styling. They were pleasant to communicate with and so helpful when we needed somewhere to stay on short notice! The eggs and bread were a lovely added touch to make guests feel even more welcome. We would stay again!

I had the privilege to stay 4 nights and i truly enjoyed my stay. The cabin was just lovely and had everything you need for a getaway. The cabin was super clean and I felt at home instantly. I shouldn't forget to mention the morning and evening views! It was just gorgeous. Pat was very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend this place.

We had an awesome stay while visiting. The place is amazing with a fantastic view that sits right on Codroy Valley river. The view is spectacular especially this time of year. The house was very clean and welcoming. It offered everything we needed. We would definitely reserve this airbnb again.

Nice and cozy home with all that needed to relax. It has a beautiful ocean view. It's kind of a small detached place under the hill with few other houses around. There is no cellular network, and wired internet is unstable in bad weather; it's your chance to go offline for a few days, which may be a good experience, actually.

Loved this place and really enjoyed the woodstove. Tim provided paper, kindling and dried wood to make it really easy and convenient.

Ellie’s beach house had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive and helpful when needed. The place was clean, quiet, free of clutter and had a beautiful view. We will certainly look to stay again if ever in the area.

Grandma J’s is exactly what we were looking for. Extremely clean and equipped with everything you need plus little luxuries. The view is stunning everywhere you turn and it was, by far, our favourite location in Newfoundland. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

Wonderful warm welcome from Rodney’s next door neighbour who was out on his porch doing his woodworking projects when we arrived . The location was picturesque out on the balcony . The hot tub was relaxing morning and night watching the harbour life. We had beautiful walks and found a local craft shop just a walk up the road . Rodney left gifts and lots of extras around the kitchen pantry and fridge⚓️ Many thanks for a wonderful stay 😊

Had a great stay here with friends. The property is beautiful and very well equipped. Felt so at home we didn’t want to leave. Will be back!

The beauty of the space was visceral. As someone who frequently staycations in my beautiful home province, experiencing this property with close friends will be an indelible memory. The homes moody monochromatic exterior is reminiscent of a Christopher Pratt painting. The interior has been tastefully remodelled and decorated, yet still captures the essence of the original home. The ocean views cannot be put into words.

Paula and Chris were great hosts and responsive to any questions that we had. They were very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect.! Thank you Chris for starting our fire last night. We really enjoyed it. The house , garden and outside patios were very comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub and the sunroom. It was so relaxing! Paula never forgot one detail! She included so many extras, including hot and cold options provided for breakfast and lots of toiletries, and anything we needed. We loved the beautiful selection of crystal glasses and bowls, the kitchen was well stocked. Our group of four were all relaxed and we had a great time! .
