Elliot’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented—it genuinely felt like a home away from home. Every room was clean and well-equipped, and we had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The access to the property was smooth and hassle-free, and the location was perfect for what we needed. On top of that, the host was great—friendly, responsive, and quick to help with any questions or requests we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great value for money and would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a little extra wow factor.

Great house, good location at the top of a hill, matching the photos. Unrestricted free on road parking at the end of a cul de sac. Highly responsive hosts. Enjoyed our stay. House would benefit from useable outdoor space.

Me and my mates had a great stay here for 3 nights before and after taking past in the Newport half marathon. Fais’s home was clean and not cluttered and felt pretty modern throughout with plenty of appliances. There was even a smart TV with Virgin Media which i certainly did not expect. Only things i would recommend are some more forks and spoons for the kitchen, some new mattresses or mattress toppers in a couple of the rooms and possibly some garden furniture. Otherwise we all had a really pleasant stay. Thank you Fais for allowing us to stay in your home.

Great location, lovely views

Fantastic house to stay in at a reasonable price. Great location on the outskirts of Cardiff. Only took us 20 mins to get in even during the rugby. Leanne is a fantastic host that will provide you with all the information about the house! Great stay! Will definitely be back!

We have just returned from a stay here whilst we visited our son at Cardiff Uni and family in Gloucestershire. The house is well located for proximity to the M4 Newport and Cardiff particularly . It was dog friendly . There is a fenced area at the bottom of the garden and a park nearby for walks . Parking is on a side street . We had no problem finding a park on it and we were back and forth frequently . The house is next to a very busy A road and the front bedroom is noisy as a result but coming from London that didn’t bother us particularly . The proximity to a fish and chip shop, Greggs, Tesco extra and sub zero ice cream parlour was most welcome ! The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with when we needed help with a couple of small issues .

Booked last minute before the Newport Marathon and it was exactly what I needed. Ann was very welcoming and kindly left out coffee and juice to help fuel the run! The annexe is nice and private and has everything you'd need. Car/bus needed to get into Cardiff.

This was our second stay at Nick's house. As before, Nick was responsive to messages beforehand. We were able to park right outside the house. It was all clean and tidy as before. Nick kindly added an extra guitar so both my kids had one. It was very convenient for us as we were in Newport for the marathon.

What can I say, except WoW. Booked a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary, from the very beginning Gavin was on hand. Happy to help in anyway he could. Gavin sourced some local spring flowers to help me surprise my wife, swapped out the welcome prosecco to a beautiful bottle of wine. The welcome half dozen eggs fresh from his hens are just stunning. Stay Balanced is a must for anyone wanting to escape the everyday and lose yourself completely. Gorgeous surroundings, nothing but tall trees, bird's, hen's, duck's and of course the inquisitive alpacas. Made full use of the log fired hot tub in the evenings, sitting, chatting submerged in 40c water. The water stayed hot for hours, it was still 34c in the morning. Although we didn't use it, the honesty bar is a great little touch. We stayed in the Barn, it has everything you need, plenty of space and beautiful decor. We would highly recommend The Farmers Arms for food if you don't want to cook. We will be returning!!!

If you are looking for peace, quiet and privacy then this is your place. The view from the room is amazing, we were very lucky with the weather so could walk for miles and the added luxury of a hot tub was the icing on the cake. The only negative was that the shower was always cold, which I didn't mind but my husband didn't appreciate. You can warm up in the tub if needs be!

We spent a month in the house. Geraldine and Steve are very friendly and responsible landlords. They helped us a lot with garbage disposal. The room is consistent with the pictures, and the kitchen and bathroom are clean and tidy. The living room is large and the broadband speed meets the needs of the four of us. The parking space is also something we like. The almost unlimited space satisfies me, a novice driver with poor parking skills. In general, all of us are very satisfied with this stay.

The photos didn't do it justice - the apartment was immaculately clean and exactly as described. Usually there are some items missing but this place had absolutely everything, even down to a hoover and a mop. There were ample facilities in the kitchen to cook a full blown meal and everything worked as expected. We couldn't have wanted for anything else, it truly felt like a home away from home. Shone was lovely and her communication was second to none. When we ran into a complication with our booking, she was friendly and incredibly helpful with a quick response time. I can't wait to stay here again!

We were 2 parents and 2 adult children with a dog looking for a place close to family in Caerleon that also gave us space to be together as a family. Anne and Rob were very flexible on timings for us and the barn worked out perfectly. We were even able to host our family for a roast lunch. The kitchen is v well equipped. Thanks again Anne and Rob!

Amazing stay, really didn't want to leave. Peaceful and picturesque. A beautiful home in a lovely setting. The amenities are great everything you need is there with an added bonus of hot tub and games room which were enjoyed very much. Tracy is a brilliant host, the communication is second to none I never needed to ask any questions as Tracy provided everything I needed to know before I asked which made everything smooth and seamless. The house and location were a dream, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. I would happily stay here again before considering anywhere else. The only downside was having to leave.

What a wonderful place to stay my family and I love quirky and it certainly met our expectations, Clare was an amazing host, she waited for us to arrive to let us feed her beautiful well kept animals and we had eggs from the chickens for our breakfast. The accommodation was clean and well stocked even had biscuits, crisps and chocolates which was a nice touch. Bedding and towels were of good quality. Hot Tub was a great, very clean, well kept and warm which we all enjoyed. The surroundings to this place are stunning with beautiful views and lovely walks. Usk village is around 5/6 miles away with lovely tea rooms and pub restaurant. Would 100% recommend Thank you Clare we will visit again.

Absolutely beautiful place in such a beautiful setting. My hubby and I felt very at home here. Our two little dogs loved it. The beach barn was spotless. The photos of the place are true to what it's like, however, if you're organised like us and think of bringing along coffee pods as you've seen photos of the machine so to not use all of the host's pods. Be aware it is not a Dolce Gusto machine, they now have a Tassimo. Don't fall into buying the wrong pods like we did by looking at the photos🤦‍♀️😂 A very short walk to The Captain's Wife pub and 1988 Indian, the food at both of these places is lovely and definitely worth trying! Lots of things to do and places to see whilst here. We drove to the Barrages walking over to Cardiff Bay, definitely worth a visit and also try Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, lovely walk around there and the medieval village. Barry Island beach is also perfect, it's lovely, clean, and perfect for dogs! We'd love to return the beach barn again in the future.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

Fantastic stay for secluded rest/relaxing with amazing views. Woodland walks from the doorstep great for walking the dog and the longer recommended walk over to Tintern. Kids also loved the rope swing! Many thanks

We came here for my partners birthday and we had a lovely weekend. The wee calf was stunning and Louise was fantastic. Gave us amazing recommendations for food and days out. We also loved how dog friendly this gorgeous little air bnb was. Not only did they provide a private fully secure garden but also on the grounds is an enclosed very large field just for dogs! Our little pup loved it 🥰 would 100% return here!

Truly stunning location with beautiful friendly hosts who made us feel at welcome to explore the whole farm. Victoria obviously has an exceptional eye for detail, the Lodge was clean and very well organised, with everything and more than we needed. The cottage was very clean and as described with amazing surroundings and a peaceful location. Hot tub was a great bonus. Hosts were very helpful before during and after our stay. 10/10.
