The apartment was just as advertised. We stayed for 2 nights and spent a couple of days hiking so didn't see the town much. Very handy for supermarket and takeaway after a busy day. apartment had all that you needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic and very comfortable 2 night stay with our 6 month old baby. Would highly recommend as a base for a stay in Newcastle and we hope to stay again. Christine was very accommodating and even offered to be flexible on our check out time after a very wet weekend. Secure car parking was a real bonus in a busy Newcastle during holiday time.

Wonderful location, handy to walk to plenty of places but totally peaceful! Balcony doesn’t really have the sea view due to high trees blocking the view (which I think are on another property line so out of owners control) but was lovely & quiet. Very large, clean rooms & well equipped kitchen. Recliners & large tv were a great way to relax in the evenings. Really appreciated the security of a gated area with good parking. Would definitely stay again!

A really lovely flat and well equipped with stunning views of the Mourne mountains. Very close to all local amenities and the local town of Newcastle. The host Kathryn was very responsive when we had a minor issue. Very good value for money.

We had a great stay in Paula's place. It was chosen to allow us to attend an event nearby, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfectly clean and beautifully presented. Comfortable beds and sofa, great shower, my most important needs! Lots of cooking basics in cupboard and coffee machine. Pub across the road serves good food and of course breakfast in Tribe coffee set us up for the day ahead. We had a query when we first arrived and Paula answered straight away.

Beautifully decorated flat, centrally located. Trafic noise due to main street, otherwise great. Free breakfast at Shimnas Cafe with very friendly staff was a highlight.

We had a fantastic stay in Ivy Apartment. Rory and Jill made us feel right at home and were very responsive, making sure we were warm and comfortable when it got a bit more chilly. Everything was clean and well equipped, even kitchen knives were sharp which is rare in airbnbs! Lovely town as well, everyone is very friendly and it's quite picturesque to walk around, as well as being a good jumping off point for sightseeing and exploring. We hope to return again sometime in the future!

We stayed here recently for a night and we will definitely be back! Gillian was so helpful and we had to move this about a few times and she was so accommodating, the house is spotless, and had everything we needed, the hot tub was already lit which was great. Amazing place to stay!!! Thanks again

This is a perfect little getaway in the lovely northern Irish countryside. The room was clean and well equipped with anything you need and close to Newry for anything you are missing. The hottub was lovely and relaxing and clean. However, it is located around the back of the main house, but still very private. Thank you for the stay.

We had a lovely stay here for the night, had everything we needed, clean and beautiful decor. Hot tub was fab and great views the hosts were very responsive and helpful.
