The cottage is a cosy, peaceful rural stay with everything you need plus native birdsong morning and night. In addition to the stunning outdoor bath and large timber deck, the space has artsy, quirky furnishings that make for a very special stay. The open plan lounge has an additional queen fold out sofa bed.

Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
