The Bothy is a small self contained unit within the grounds of our B and B .It has a lounge area with TV , DVD and wood burning stove. There is a small kitchen area with kettle , toaster , George Forman grill ,microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a shower , toilet and basin. Designed for two people with a comfy double mattress on the mezannine. It is rented on a self catering basis or we can provide continental breakfast hampers for an additional £18 ,must be pre ordered. Nearby EV charging .

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer

It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.
