Ohana Villas was the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa! The property is beautiful, it’s well maintained and clean. The pool and pool area is great! A perfect spot to cool off and relax. The owners are present on the property every day & the nicest people! They would check in on how our stay is going, if we needed anything and just to say hi. We were given clear instructions to access the property, a lengthy list of recommendations for food and some overall information. I would stay here again and recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in ST.

Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

Halfway through our stay we were planning our return trip. Fantastic, simple place minutes by foot to the beach. It's in a great little neighborhood with incredibly friendly people, good food, surfing rentals and instruction, and a fantastic beach. I have to say the food is a bit expensive but that is the only small gripe I would have. If you are frugal like we are stop at a supermercado on the way there, load up, and just enjoy this wonderful town. And definitely try the banana coffee . . .

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Such a gem in Tamarindo! We loved being surrounded by nature and having the pool. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked well. It can be a little hard to walk into the main town because the house is located uphill but it’s definitely doable. Jose provided us with recommendations and was very responsive. Overall I would highly recommend!

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

My husband and I loved staying here. The place was very private and a little slice of paradise that included a view of the Arenal Volcano on clear days. Swimming in the pool and enjoying the sounds of the jungle were definitely highlights. We also loved being a little outside of the hustle and bustle of town, but just a short drive away when we wanted to explore that area. The place itself was small but had everything we needed and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Great place with an amazing view, and was a close drive to the nearby city. There were a few ants in the kitchen here and there but overall clean and a great place to stay. Would recommend!

What a special place! We felt so lucky to have a spot in the jungle with sounds of the nearby stream, beautiful birds perching in the backyard and a place to relax after a long day of exploring. Jocsan has smartly built two tiny houses next to each other in his backyard. They are positioned in a way that all feels private and the vegetation surrounds you everywhere. In between his house and the tiny houses is a gorgeous back garden. It was a pleasure meeting him and his family and although we weren’t able to take him up on it, he offered to feed us one night! His spot is nestled in an area of town right outside La Fortuna which was lovely to get away from the busy town at the end of the day. But also just a few mins into town for meals and conveniently located to many tourist attractions. Great spot, highly recommend! Thanks so much Jocsan & family for hosting us!

We find right at home. The place is small, but definitely cozy. Peaceful surroundings & in nature.

Jeffry's Oasis, Fika Haus, is a true gem in Monteverde. It's breathtaking; located in a beautiful garden oasis ( including some wildlife), quiet and private, yet near Santa Elena center and all activities. The airbnb has a cozy Scandinavian layout, perfect for the mountains, and an extremely polished, comfortable, and clean interior. Jeffry was so kind and responsive, a 5☆ host for a 5☆ place, Pura Vida! Gracias, we'll be back!

Amazing stay at the cabin! It’s such an incredible spot. The farm is beautiful, and Huberth was super kind to show me around the premises when I arrived. Also would highly recommend the night tour of the grounds. Saw multiple sloths and lots of other cool wildlife. Ubers are also really easy to get in and around Fortuna, so there was never any difficulty getting back late at night. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and authentic getaway if you’re staying in Fortuna!

Super séjour chez Izu Garden. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans le lieu paisible et calme. Un vrai cocon au milieu de la nature avec de supers équipements : tapis de yoga, cuisine, douche extérieure... La décoration est très belle et bien pensé. L’hôte est très réactif et très sympa ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We had a wonderful stay here, we wish we had stayed longer as we enjoyed it so much! The treehouse felt like you were in the middle of the forest yet it was easy to get into town. We saw so much wildlife from the balcony including toucans and luis kindly came and got us when he found howler monkeys! Beautiful location, Highly Recommend!

Das Haus entsprach genau den Bildern und war wundervoll. Die küche hat einiges an Ausstattung geboten (auch Kaffeemaschine). Das Bett war total bequem und die Aussicht ein Traum. Am ersten Tag ist sogar ein süßer Nasenbär direkt unter unserem Balkon und man hat das Gefühl mitten im Wald zu sein.

A nice oasis in quiet Pelada, with a cool dipping pool in the middle of the two cabanas to share. We were lucky that we knew the other couple in cabana 2 but they were private enough that I don’t think it would have mattered if we didn’t. Close to Sunrise coffee which is great breakfast. We bought coffee and fresh fruit from the market and made breakfast smoothies every day while there. Highly recommend renting a golf cart or ATV to get around as, while the beach and Pelada restaurants are walkable, you will want the broader range to get to Guiones or old town Nosara. Place was modern and clean.

I can't say enough wonderful things about MJ, Jason, and their beautiful property — but I'll try! First, they are truly the warmest, kindest, and most attentive hosts you will ever meet on Airbnb. Always available, they go above and beyond to answer questions, offer help, and make sure your stay is perfect. The home itself is absolutely lovely. The location is ideal — just 15 minutes from Jacó, 5 minutes from the stunning Playa Hermosa (a surfer’s paradise!), and within walking distance of a charming café where you can enjoy delicious coffee and fresh, healthy meals. I spent a week working remotely from their place — the internet was excellent, and I loved being able to take a refreshing dip in the pool between meetings. The kitchen was well-equipped too, making it easy to cook for myself. If you're considering booking, don't hesitate — you will not regret staying here!

We had a great time staying in La Fortuna at one of the Home Vacations properties! Would highly recommend to anyone coming to La Fortuna. The company office also had great recommendations of places to eat and things to do and made booking activities a breeze.

José is the man great stay. He made us feel right at home. Super nice. The property is next level. The view is probably the best view that you will get of the capital at your time i Costa Rica. I highly recommend this stay!!

Es nuestra segunda vez hospedados en esta casa y nos gustó mucho. Además es un lugar seguro y muy tranquila.

Lovely place with enough jungle to feel remote, but close enough to town to walk if you wanted. AC was surprisingly quick to cool down the space considering the size of the unit vs the space. Loved the outdoor patio and direct kitchen access for breakfasts. Kitchen was nicely equipped and stocked, including vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. There is no oven, but there is a 2 burner electric stove. Very clean space, felt very modern and welcoming. The whole property is behind a locked gate, so security is never a concern. Diego was also very helpful and friendly, giving suggestions for restaurants and hiking locations when we asked. Check-in and out require in person meeting, but he was very flexible with the timing for that, both on arrival and departure. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to the area in the future.

GREAT location! Can walk to beach and town. Jeffry and Sofía from Alba guest services were super helpful and responded quickly. The cleaning crew was very nice. The casita is very cute and has everything you need with a few inconveniences. There is no lid for the cooking pot. The mini split was leaking and the hosts were quick to fix it but didn’t clean or change the sheets even though the water leaked all over the bed. The landscapers came in the morning and made relaxing outside difficult. The main house above the casita impacts privacy and there was extra noise. There was a family there with kids screaming in the pool a lot of the time. I just would go to the beach but it should maybe be noted that the home isn’t always the most peaceful. The outdoor shower also leaks. Overall, I loved staying here but I think the price was pretty high given the small issues which were fine but just a lot of money. I loved staying here though!! Amazing to walk to the beach and surf :) thank you!!!
