Marcia is such an amazing host. The prestigious appartment was spot on. Brilliant location, all shops and restaurants are just an elevator away. My partner was impressed and I will come back again and again.

Simon's place was all we needed, lovely and secure apartment within the vibey Rosebank area. Very convenient with lots to do within a short walk. Simon was a very responsive host as well, I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a hustle free stay.

Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sally’s lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, Sally was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The highlight of this property, however, has to be the tranquil, serene garden. It’s a beautifully maintained oasis of calm and relaxation. The garden is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with a friendly and accommodating host, this is the place for you. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This was our first time in Johannesburg and Anita helped it to be very special. She was a great hostess. Anytime we needed anything she had no problem assisting us. She gave us information about sightseeing in the area, restaurants, great farmer's markets and much more. My sister was visiting from Rome, Italy and Anita speaks Italian, so that was a special surprise for my sister. Anita also has a basketball hoop, which my 10 year old granddaughter loved, she also gave her games and drawing supplies. My granddaughter had a great time. We highly recommend Anita's beautiful cottage and great hospitality, and would surely book it again.

Our stay was more than we dreamed. Rasheed was incredibly helpful and the perfect host. Our party of 9 ladies had an amazing evening and slept so comfortably. The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable with all the amenities plus mini bar! Our guests loved the added decor to the gardens which was an added surprise and thought the place was charming with all the different sculptures and African trophies. This place is definitely a peaceful oasis with a gracious host willing to accommodate his guests as best as possible. Thank you for an amazing experience Rasheed!

A very big shout out to Aniss and his entire crew for such an amazing and spotless place, all amenities mentioned were available and they even provided extra toiletries, extra towels, extra pillows, flat iron working well, a backup power back was provided in case of load shedding which I never experienced. All the kitchen ware you will ever needed was provided. Basically I would live comfortably and happily at Anis place for an entire year with no complains. I have a video for vivid videos on my TikTok (monicaslifejournal). 10/10

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

We had such a lovely time last year that we came back again this year. Nancy and Alice were stars and we loved every second of our stay. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Look no further and have a beautiful experience. You’ll feel relaxed, at peace and at home.

Sean was an amazing host from start to finish. He let us check in early, which we really appreciated, and the place totally blew us away — it was honestly 100 times better than what we saw in the listing. The location was super convenient, and we felt really safe the whole time. Plus, no load shedding during our stay, which was a huge plus. Sean took the time to walk us through every little detail in the house when we arrived, and you could tell he really cared — nothing was rushed, and he didn’t leave anything out. Communication with him was spot-on the entire time, and the house had everything we needed. My kids absolutely loved it too — they were so comfortable and happy there, which made the whole experience even better for us. Honestly, I don’t have a single complaint. If the place is available the next time we’re in town, we’re definitely booking it again. Highly recommend!

Kim was really great and friendly. She communicated very well during my stay and was helpful. The cottage was clean and had a beautiful touch of furniture that was unique. The cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities you require to stay. Thank you so much Kim for a lovely stay.

This was our 2nd time we've used Leah&AJ's place, previously stayed in 2023. We stayed this time with family visiting from the UK and Sweden, staying twice across a two week period as part of a 60th birthday celebration and family reunion. Lean and AJ were perfect hosts as always, friendly, accomodating and nothing is too much trouble. Would definately recommend and we'll be staying again in the future. Thanks Leah & AJ

Such a peaceful and pleasant stay. Check in was super smooth even though we asked to check in earlier than usual. The place was big enough to move around freely. Wifi connection was great and we loved the visits from the dogs. A lovely homey place with an amazing host.

What a wonderful opportunity to stay at Sally’s place. They are such a beautiful couple and absolutely helpful. The cottage is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and very quiet. If you need a quiet place for reflection and peaceful place to get your thoughts together or write a book, Sally’s place is the place. If you like running in the morning or walking the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Thank you again sally for such an amazing host. See you another time.

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment is big and comfortable . Is also very quiet and you can’t hear the neighbors. There is a gym across the street if you plan to workout and grocery store is walking distance. Ac worked well and the internet had some hiccups but it didn’t affected our work. Overall great place and responsive host.

If you ever visit Joburg and would like to feel right at home, I'd highly recommend staying at Charl's place. His home is exactly as described in the photos listed and it is very safe, peaceful and comfortable. I felt right at home and cooked breakfast in his kitchen everyday during my stay before I started my day. He also has two adorable dogs who are so sweet and friendly are are happy to keep you company. All in all, a great place to stay on your visit to Joburg.

The host and caretaker are so friendly and accommodating. The place is the most convenient location, especially for a kosher stay. the entire experience was truly amazing and wonderful. I would for sure stay there again if I come back to job.

Ashu's place is beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. We Loved It! The kitchen has great stainless steel pots which is hard to find in Airbnbs. We really appreciated having a dish washer, which is a rare find in the Johannesburg area. The showers are AMAZING! The location is in walking distance to the Sandton City Mall/Benmore Mall and they have everything you need. Ashu has excellent communication skills and responds quickly. The apartment listing is accurate. She is very considerate and had water and some items we all need in the kitchen like milk, cooking oil etc. I would love to stay there again and I am sad that my stay was so short.

I always choose One Hyde Park whenever I'm in Johannesburg, and Margarita’s place never disappoints. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes each stay feel like a home away from home. The on-site restaurant is super convenient, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and quiet—perfect for both work and relaxation. Margarita’s apartment had everything I needed and more. Highly recommended!
