Usha and Channa are the best hosts. Communication was perfect from beginning to end. The tree house is perfect. Very faithful photos and description. In addition to dinner and breakfast, the best so far. Thank you, Usha and Channa, for the amazing experience!

Nilaveli è un posto bellissimo, il resort con vista mare è proprio davanti alla spiaggia, si può fare il bagno in mare tranquillamente e comunque c’è una bella piscina proprio vicino alla spiaggia. Un giorno abbiamo fatto una gita in barca a Pigeon Island che è proprio davanti e abbiamo fatto snorkeling. Anche se i coralli sono danneggiati dall’alta temperatura e dallo tsunami c’erano moltissimi pesci meravigliosi e in molte zone i coralli stanno rinascendo. Il nostro appartamento era molto comodo e spazioso con aria condizionata e ventilatori al soffitto. Raccomando questo soggiorno a chi è amante del mare e della tranquillità. Ghazzali è stato molto gentile e disponibile.

Had an epic few days relaxing in Nilaveli. What better place to unwind than the penthouse with amazing views, super clean and all the amenities one would need. Everything here was spectacular. There is even a lovely little beach restaurant next door that has excellent food. Beach was super clean and Pigeon Island was so close. Best views from the deck off the apartment. Sad to leave - Thank you Elaine and Rory!

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

Все привет! Провели в данном комплексе две недели. Все было превосходно, один из немногих вариантов, где можно жить, как дома. Удобная кухня, просторные помещения, очень чисто, если нужно убраться, то персонал всегда приходил на помощь и делал свою работу безупречно. Может быть немного дорого показаться, но это стоит своих денег. Я однозначно рекомендую данное место, тем более внизу самый лучший ресторан в Тринко, где можно вкусно поесть. Хорошее интернет-соединение, так как я работаю удаленно, это спасало меня. Отличный пляж в шаговой доступности. Видно, что место новое и развивается, поэтому со временем оно будет только лучше. Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage bei TrincoMo! Das Airbnb war tip top sauber und gepflegt. Wir wurden sogar mit einem Dinner begrüßt und uns wurde jeden Morgen nach Belieben Frühstück zubereitet. Es gab reichlich Tipps für Trincomalee und Umgebung und wir standen mit Sahana immer gut in Kontakt! Absolute Empfehlung! :)

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage direkt an einem menschenleeren Traumstrand. Man kann den Fischern bei der Arbeit zusehen und auf der erhöhten Terrasse unter Sonnenschutz entspannt aufs Meer blicken, was ein Highlight war. Das Team um Kasthuri war herzlich, hat täglich gereinigt und war bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle (Danke nochmal an dieser Stelle!). Auch Kian und Janah waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben sehr schnell reagiert. Zusätzlich gab es ausreichend Informationen zu Aktivitäten wie Whale Watching etc. Besonders angenehm: kostenloses, kaltes Wasser und Frühstück. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die süßen Streifenhörnchen, die uns mit ihrer stillen Präsenz den Aufenthalt versüßt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können den Ort absolut empfehlen! The Raintree Retreat is a real gem! The property is huge and therefore each bookable house comes with a lot of privacy. The nature is stunning with fishes, turtles, lizards, monkeys and so many exotic birds to watch (incl. Kingfishers). At nighttime we even saw many fireflies. And to our surprise there are hardly any moskitos thanks to the fishes. Beside this amazing nature-experience our highlight were the hosts and their utmost welcoming and caring manner. Sue and her husband are such lovely people and we enjoyed the time we spend together. Uthpala took us even to a nearby river and we had a dip in the fresh water together. Our kids loved it! On top of all that we were really blown away by the ultra yummy food. Home cooked srilankan dishes in the evening and a great breakfast, always trying to match our kids taste (not spicy and lots of waffles and pancakes ;-) Thanks again for making our holidays sooo great!

We loved our stay here. We are backpacking around Sri Lanka and wanted to try something different than hostels and this was perfect. Such an experience! Animal sounds to listen to at night. So many beautiful fireflies at night. Hashan was a good host. Good at communicating and helping where help was needed. Thank you for this experience!
