Sally and Chris are the perfect hosts! They were very welcoming and also had very nice recommendations for us. When we said goodbye they had also a lovely chocolate for us :) We enjoyed our stay in the lovely room under the roof. We had everything we need (towels, hairdryer, EU adapter, hair straightener) and enjoyed the view into the wonderful garden. The location was very good to travel with the public transport opportunities (tube, bus) to all important spots in London. Kings Cross & St. Pancras International Station is also just six stops with Piccadilly Line away. We highly recommend this sweet accomodation for everyone who wants to visit London.

While the area isn't the safest, it was very convenient to be able to get into Central London in 30-40 minutes, and there's a Tesco 10 minutes away. The nearest tube station is about 10 minutes away too, and the night tube runs routinely. The garden is lovely, there's plenty of storage, the heater will keep you toasty when it gets cold. A few things to consider: the bathroom lock has been broken for a few months, and while there is a dryer function on the washing machine, use is not encouraged. Ultimately, I had a great time here. I recommend newcomers to London visit the Jazz Cafe or Blues Kitchen. I highly recommend Deniz Best Kebab on your way back after a good night out!

Il nostro soggiorno è stato estremamente piacevole. La casa era pulita, ordinata e la colazione abbondante e varia. Melody e suo marito sono stati degli host impeccabili, sempre cordiali nei nostri confronti e disposti ad aiutarci quando necessario. Speriamo di poterci tornare presto. Consigliatissimo!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Die Kommunikation war super unkompliziert und schnell. Besonders dankbar waren wir für das flexible Einchecken – wir kamen mitten in der Nacht an, und alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Im Zimmer warteten sogar Wasser, Obst und Cornflakes auf uns – eine sehr nette Geste! Die Unterkunft war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich und freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank!

J'ai passé un très bon sejour chez Colin. La chambre est paisible et le lit très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai plus, et m'a permise de pratiquer mon anglais avec Colin ! Enfin, on trouve toutes sortes de petits commerces à proximité du logement, ce qui est très pratique. Je recommande !

Stay at Margaret’s was amazing. She was very attentive and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 recommend :)

sehr schönes Zimmer (mit toller rückenfreundlicher Matratze) in einem wirklichen liebevollen Zuhause. Garten konnte aufgrund der Witterung leider nicht genutzt werden, aber sollte man das Glück haben, hier an ein paar sonnigen Tagen zu verweilen so ist dies sicher nochmal ein echter Gewinn. Jeg kan kun anbefale at bo hos Lyn og Gavin. Det var på alle områder virkelig et behageligt , trygt, hyggeligt og godt ophold. Lyn og Gavin er meget imødekommende, og det hele fungerede. Morgenmaden var lækker, og Gavin sørgede for at intet manglede. Jeg vil helt sikkert komme igen, næste gang jeg besøger London.

Nasreen was extraordinarily welcoming. She gave me my choice of room and in the morning offered coffee and my choice of toast, fruit, cereal, and porridge for breakfast, joining me in a very pleasant conversation at the kitchen table. Her comfortable home is also conveniently located -- about a 6-minute walk from a stop for the bus to Audley End rail station and just over 15 minutes’ walk to picturesque Market Square. There is also a nearby Tesco where one can get microwaveable meals. Check-out was easy. Highly recommended for a relaxing and economical stay!

J'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cette chambre propre et fonctionnelle, idéale pour un court séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichtet, nette, hilfsbereite und angenehme Gastgeber, tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen, absolut fantastisches Frühstück mit Blick in den Garten, wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Tolle ruhige Wohngegend in Mill Hills. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Couldn't recommend a stay at Ruth's accomodation more!! I stayed for a weekend as I was attending a concert at Ally Pally; which is within a short walking distance. As soon as I entered the house, Ruth was very welcoming and showed me around the kitchen and my room. There was snacks and coffee I could help myself to in the kitchen if needed. The space was nicely layed out for me, with soap, shampoo, towels and everything needed for my stay. The room was just as described, with a large bed, fridge, kettle and bathroom. Many reviews do mention the nearby train track, the noise didn't personally bother me but it may do others. Very lovely stay and Ruth's daughter even offered to make me breakfast! Thank you for my wonderful and welcoming stay Ruth, I will definitely be returning for Alexandra Palace gigs :)

My regular place to stay when in Welwyn. Lovely host and the room has everything I need.

She is such a lovely lady, the home was very neat and we were warmly welcomed, we had breakfast and it was lovely, I would definitely be back.
