The hobbit hole was magic! Exactly what I needed. The more time you spent there the more you realised how much time and thought had been poured into it. Sheryn was so warm and friendly, going out of her way to pick me some fresh fruit! Would love to return at some point! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs some time out.

We stayed at Pumice during the off-season for Okahune, so the vibes may be a bit different during the Winter months, but our stay was super relaxing. Pumice is obviously gorgeous and the design was well-crafted. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook a meal (we cooked thrice). The shower is lovely and I'm sure the heated floors only get better in the winter months. Evan is super helpful and kind - don't hesitate to reach out if you have concerns during your stay. Okahune in the off-season doesn't have a lot going on, but you should still check out the Carrot park - it was a highlight of our stay as we just kind of stumbled upon it. There is also a small disc golf course within a 5 minute walk if you're into that. Be sure to grab a latte while you're in NZ - I feel like every place we went made the best latte I've ever had and the little store in Okahune was no exception. Grab an eclaire while you're there.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hobbit House. We arrived by bike in the dark (having under estimated the distance!) with our one year old, and Barry and Janice were there to greet us and had even lit the fire. Our son absolutely loved the house, particularly the ponies next door. 100% recommend staying here, it was a truly unique and delightful experience

A very comfortable house, with such good vibes, welcoming from the off! A fabulous view to contemplate over a wine and dinner in the evenings. Communication with Rachel was easy before and during our stay. She was very accommodating. We recomment you tap into her wealth of knowledge regarding the local area. A very enjoyable stay, thanks again Rachel!

Beautiful spot and comfy, flexible accommodation. No problems with being off the grid. Enjoyed the hot tub.

We loved our time here. Sharlene was helpful and we had no problems finding the house or while we were there The kitchen was supplied with so many extras including basic food items and cooking equipment etc. All the bedrooms were super comfortable and overall we felt totally at home. A special family time for us all. It rained the whole time we were there but we embraced the quiet and loved the bird life. A family of Tuis in the enormous Puriri tree kept us entertained! I would totally recommend to anyone.

A very peaceful place to stay whatever the weather. We were there when a cyclone came near Coromandel and the inside of the house stayed warm and dry (especially with the help of the wood stove). There were comfortable sofas for extended reading binges. Even showering outside in the rain was nice!

Die Lage des Studios könnte kaum besser sein. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und man hat nur ein anderes Haus dort, das Grundstück ist aber nicht einsehbar, sodass man es ruhig und privat hat. Trotzdem sind Hot Water Beach (Schaufeln sind sogar in der Unterkunft vorhanden!) und Cathedral Cove sehr nah. Wie beschrieben gibt es dort kein WLAN und auch mobiles Internet war dort nur sehr eingeschränkt. Am besten also alle Planungen, Buchungen etc. vorher erledigen.
