I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and have finally found a home worth every penny spent. Kim keeps this home away from home in pristine condition with every creature comfort available from slippers to comfy throws and snacks with dietary restrictions in mind. The location of the home is a short walk from some of the best views and restaurants in Swansboro with a great park which my daughter enjoyed! Do not hesitate to stay here and enjoy it as much as we did!

When other spring break plans fell through, we found this place last minute and Michael was so accommodating and flexible, and my son and myself could not be more appreciative. We were very lucky to have found this beautiful spot right on the canal! All kinds of entertainment: the kayaks, paddle boards, ping-pong, darts, well stocked! Michael was very responsive, the place was bright and open, with a gorgeous screened in back deck. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the seagulls, the masts, and the boats going by, what a treat…

Highly recommend! We LOVED staying here. Location was perfect. Everything about this home was amazing. So charming, safe and CLEAN. You will not be disappointed in your decision to stay here!

We had such a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was exactly as described... clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and easy. The space was well-maintained, cozy, and in a great location. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free, enjoyable stay!

Very nice spot in Surf City, very spacious and conveniently located, near most of places in town and to Topsail and other beches for day trips. The house is well stock with all essentials you need for weekend break and even more, just perfect for up to two families with kids, my kids always enjoy bunk beds and games. Kayaks were a plus, all in good shape and dock is very near just to walk. Nick was very responsive and prompt for any questions, will return when visiting Wilmington.

Monica's place was great, and Monica is super friendly! I love an old home and this one is super cute! It was clean, and the beds were so comfy. If we are ever in Wilmington in the future, I would definitely book Monica's place again.

The place was perfect in every aspect: The location, size, accommodations, amenities, and proximity to the areas we frequented. For our tennis group, the total cost was less than what a hotel would have cost, which is historically where we used to stay. This experience, summarized by our ability to share one place, travel together, have meals together, watch TV together, and have the large space to spread out was absolutely fantastic. The experience was positive any which way you look at it. On top of that, Jana (and her husband) were super hosts with super friendly communication. We wish we had the opportunity to meet them in person, but..............maybe this time next year :-).

Our stay at Carolyn’s Lighthouse was exceptional from start to finish! The accommodations were top-notch, blending comfort and style seamlessly. The highlight was definitely the hot tub and outdoor movie theater—both were perfect for relaxing evenings after a day of exploration. We especially appreciated the host's, Richard’s, friendliness and attentiveness, making us feel right at home. The quick trip to the nearby beach was a hit with everyone, offering a refreshing and fun escape. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

We LOVED this place. The dock was perfect for the boys to fish and catch shrimp. The location was a quick walk to the beach for the girls and a short distance to the boat launch. We’ll definitely go back!

Steve and Hannah’s home was perfect for a family get away. The house was cozy and had beautiful sunrise and sunset views!

This cozy cottage was exactly what my daughter and I needed for a weekend away in a secluded setting on their property. Charlene was a gracious host and the amenities in this cozy cottage were impeccable! It was super inviting, modern, and had all the things that you needed including very appreciated basket of snacks upon arrival. My daughter and I really enjoyed using the gym next-door and then headed out toward Wrightsville Beach the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with provided firewood on the cute patio with the string lights and peaceful sounds of nature. Grocery stores were easily 5 to 10 minutes away and Wilmington was a good 15-20 minute ride. Topsail was 25 minutes in the other direction and we loved visiting there as well. The property is huge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage! Great stay overall!

As advertised! Would recommend and hope to return. Everything was great! There is not one negative I can think of. One of the best places we have stayed through Air BnB. Sue was a great host, super clean, comfy beds, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, excellent location.

We had a great long weekend stay. The house exceeded our expectations, was spacious and the views were incredible. Only a half mile drive to the bridge leading to the surf city pier.

We loved everything about his place. My grandkids loved the dock because they could fish right in the backyard and we could see them from the back decks. We saw dolphins a few morning and even saw a stingray from the dock. Frederick was an awesome host. We would love to come back early spring or fall so they could catch some fish. Thank you we made some great memories! Beautiful and so peaceful!

I cannot recommend this place enough! the reason we chose this spot was the dock and yard for kids to play. there are plenty of beach front properties to choose from in the area but this place is special. a home away from home. the options for outside relaxing were amazing and truly offered spaces for fun and fostering connection with each other. we played wifle ball, flew kites, and took out the kayaks for an adventure of a life time exploring the near by islands and shallow water ways across the bay. every day was full of adventure, shell treasures, and ended with porch sitting and corn hole. our hearts were full and truly sad to leave. I'm already planning our next visit.
