Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Rustic ocean lodge with sea-side sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Cozy independent Aurora SPA homestay

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Idyllic cabin in the Lyngen Alps

Lyngen is one of the world's most beautiful and undisturbed Arctic regions. From this exclusive cabin you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. The cabin is by itself, with a spectacular view. You can hear and see the ocean from the terrace. You need to walk up 140 stairs to the cabin, or walk the access road. You can be a bit shocked by the steepness, but it's worth it :) You can not drive up so you have to be a bit sporty to rent this place.

Relax at Knotty Pines, a Norwegian wood cabin nestled in the side mountain, located 22km from Tromsø city centre. Enjoy stunning fjord views and northern lights from the cabin, relax in the sauna after a day of adventure, experiment with local ingredients in a well stocked kitchen and if work calls, there is even a home office! Koselig hytte med SAUNA (badstue) 6 km nord fra Lyngseidet sentrum. Hytta er totalt 49 kvm og passer fint for 3-4 voksne eller en liten familie. Hytten inneholder : stue, toalett /dusj , kjøkken og 3 soverom. bod: inni boden er det vaskemaskin - Stor veranda hvor det er grillmuligheter å utsikt over Lyngenfjorden. ( ved eller kull er ikke lnkl. i prisen) - Hytten skal etterlates i orden og ryddig. - Brukt sengetøy å håndduker MÅ taes av og settes i skittentøyskurv.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
