Kate’s place was amazing! Such a great little spot right on the edge of the Cotswolds in the lovely town of Carterton. Perfect if you’ve got a dog - the ground floor studio has its own private garden which was super handy. The place was spotless and really cozy. We had an awesome stay and will definitely be coming back!

Susan was very friendly and helpful great host beautiful garden to sit in the sun and town isn’t too far of a walk. The dogs was great to make a fuss of and very friendly we really enjoyed our stay if we came back we would definitely stay again.

We recently returned from a very comfortable 19-night stay in Julie’s apartment in Hitchin, a beautiful market town dating from the 7th century. Julie, and her daughter-in-law Kerri, are friendly and helpful hosts. The bright, sunny apartment is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and allowed preparation of numerous meals. Bedding and pillows were comfortable. Not being accustomed to English systems, we ran out of hot water the first afternoon. After contacting Julie, she immediately explained how to avoid the problem and have hot water whenever needed. We appreciated the off-road designated parking spot close to the front entrance to the apartment building. Location of apartment is excellent, being a short walk to the centre of the town, where there are excellent restaurants and coffee shops (don’t miss Esquires in the Market Place). And a five-minute walk from the apartment takes you to Hitchin Town Football Club, a very entertaining way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Perfect spot for attending an event at Oxford Brookes university. Very well equipped flat, with everything you could possibly need. We were very surprised to arrive to croissants and Prosecco. Angela was flexible with check in timing and was always quick to respond.

This cute apartment was perfect for my family. Walking distance to the cute “downtown”, parks, train station and more. We will 100% be back. Added bonus - the host’s cute spaniel, Penny.

Beautiful little apartment great value for money my second stay

Beautiful, private perfect space for one or a couple with everything I needed. Beautiful countryside location but near enough to Oxford for me. Victoria and Darren were excellent hosts. The local shop is lovely for coffee and cake though don't rely on it for basics.

We had a wonderful stay at Louisa’s place this weekend. The place was spotless, comfortable, and peacefully quiet—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Louisa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even easier. The only minor point to mention is that the heating was capped at 22°C, which could be a bit limiting for those who prefer it warmer. That said, everything else was absolutely perfect. I spent two weeks in Florin 's house. The house was impeccably clean and very well maintened, with all the amenities needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is located in a very peaceful area, close to public transport, perfect! Florin was a very attentive and responsive host during our interactions. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place!

Sarma was very responsive and flexible with our check out when our train was cancelled. We loved how much space we had and were very comfortable.

I have family in the village. I’ve stayed here twice now and will stay here every time I visit from now on. House is great and Terrie is super helpful. Would highly recommend.

Kalada’s place was very immaculate and cozy. I felt like I was home.

A lovely, peaceful stay with outdoor space too. Very comfortable and quite a spacious feeling. A short drive to Coventry where we found an excellent south Indian restaurant. Also easy to drive into Meriden and go to the shop and visit the playground there which was lovely.

High standard beautiful place. Lovely garden area to chill out in. Perfect place to stay. Great location just a 5 min walk to all the pubs and restaurants. Lovely modern high standard finish to all areas inside the property made a very comfortable stay, would definitely return. Really enjoyed our stay. No breakfast items but there’s plenty of tea coffee, milk for a cuppa, and a fab cafe opposite The Fox Pub for a full English if required, or take your own no problem. One of the nicest air b n b we’ve stayed at, just perfect thankyou so much Sam, it was just lovely.

We had the most wonderful time at Danessa’s beautiful cottage. The place is very well equipped and super comfortable. The surroundings are gorgeous and all you hear and see is exquisite wild life. I would very happily stay there again and have no hesitation to recommend it.

Tucked away at the back of the shops, right on the High Street. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. A lovely little village. The way in was a little bit tight and you had drive carefully through the archway. It was comfortable and had everything you needed. Very quiet. And the Museum was wonderful!

This was our 3rd time at Butterfly house and it did not disappoint. David’s place really stands out to us and that’s why we always come back. His place feels so homely and put together that it’s always on our list when we think of where to go for a staycation. Debbie was amazing hosting us, such good communication and great response times. We had a fantastic few days at Mayfield. Sue was a great host, always quick to respond and very helpful. Mayfield was extremely comfortable and everything was top quality. The conservatory and back garden are a real haven of tranquillity and made for a really peaceful and relaxing few days. Sue had left us lots of little extras and there was a fabulous selection of teas too! It was an easy, short walk into Oakham which was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sue’s place.
