This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. A decorative spiral staircase leads from the living room to a small roof balcony overlooking the picturesque canal in front of the house. The apartment is provided with good WIFI CONNECTION, AIR CONDITIONING and MOSQUITO SCREENS in any room CASA ZORZI is recommended both for romantic escapes and for family holidays. The apartment is also provided with good reference books useful to plan and enjoy a stay in Venice. The Apartment is located on the quieter side of the truly Venetian Cannaregio District. The house is beside the magnificent Madonna dell' Orto Gothic church, containing cherished treasures including Tintoretto masterpieces. It is 15 minutes away from Rialto bridge. It is very easy and comfortable to reach by public transport either you arrive from Marco Polo airport or from the Train Station, with no bridge to cross with your luggage between the nearest waterbus stop and the apartment. A City stay tax of € 4,00 per day /per person ( € 2,00 for 10/16 children, excluding children up to 10) is due up to max 5 days.

The lodgings can host a maximum of 4 people, and has been renovated respecting its real core: you can still breathe the genuine atmosphere of Venetian houses inside these walls, with a touch of refinement and originality The house is located on the second floor of a small building which is just 20 meters from the famous Rialto Bridge and a few steps from the characteristic fish and fruit market: the real beating heart of the city. Restaurants, shops and the famous "bacari" (taverns) are located just below the house. The house is very bright and the comfortable and spacious living room will make you feel like living in a Venetian noble building . You can also watch the authentic life of the city that animates the below street from the small terrace of the bedroom. I will personally welcome my guests and, though living not close to the house, am always available for any of your needs. Located in the central area of San Polo which is full of Venice’s historic sights like Rialto Bridge, the Grand Canal, and the oldest church in the city, San Giacomo di Rialto. The area has a lively bar scene and interesting shops. You can easily reach the main tourist attractions from home. I suggest a romantic gondola tour and an evening walk through the narrow streets, far from crowd and noise. City tax is Euro 4.00 per person per night to be paid cash upon arrival
