a lot of things can be adjusted and compromised but the most important thing for me is the staff - and this place nailed it! I love the staff, so accommodating and friendly. will definitely be coming back here in our next trip.

Clean and simple space on a private beach. We found it relaxing and enjoyed sitting watching the sunset.

It was a great stay overall, I appreciate the responsiveness and the hosts family even welcomed us. There were some items that need to be fixed but didn’t really impacted our stay. A great place to stay if you want peaceful, quiet, and beautiful view/scenery.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf bij Neal en zijn familie. De kamers waren lekker ruim, schoon en comfortabel. Neal en zijn familie zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kunt er ook heerlijk snorkelen in de zee en het eten is lekker. Wel is het een stukje rijden naar het centrum, dus je hebt vervoer nodig maar dat is het zeker waard!

Un séjour dans un cadre juste exceptionnel ! Verna est une hôte extrêmement gentille, accueillante et c’est vraiment un plaisir de séjourner dans sa magnifique maison. La localisation est un peu loin du centre mais vous trouverez ici de la paix et la vie locale. C’est situé très proche de plein de points d’intérêt donc c’est parfait !! Si vous êtes très sensible aux bruits la nuit il y a des chiens qui hurlent quasi non stop mais même moi qui suit sensible j’ai fini par bien dormir, ça vaut le coup à 100%! I had been there before for a 1 day stay. It is a beautiful place and since I had to be in Mindanao for the holidays, I thought it would be a treat. I went there as a solo traveler. 3 days later I was hosting a traditional Philippines Christmas Party complete with a Lechon. 3 days earlier I had dinner with some new, local friends and we came up with the idea of a party. As soon as I mentioned it to Mary Joy, she presented me with all kinds of options I didn't know the hotel offered. 3 days later at little cost (relative to western standards) we had an event! I have never had such an experience at an Airbnb. I can't remember interacting with Mary Joy without hugging her. It is almost trite to say I was treated like family - but I was. Cannot reccommend the MJF Hotel highly enough..

Malin beach resort is one of a kind. If you want to spend time with your family/friends, this is a place for you. It has a private kitchen as well as refrigerator, utensils (for eating and cooking). It feels like you own the whole resort for it provides exclusive areas for you and the whole beach front. The host is very responsive and very helpful. There is also a multicab available for rent in a cheap price which is good for roaming around the island. Their care taker kuya Ricardo and nanay are very friendly and accommodating. Their care taker drivers: Kuys Kent (pick-up and drop off) and Kuya Ricky (during day tour) are also very friendly, they even act as the tour guide during our trip. Our stay at this beautiful spot in Siquijor was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the owners and staff — everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. It was like stepping into a serene paradise where every detail was thoughtfully crafted for comfort and calm. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee while overlooking the clear, turquoise waters was truly soul-soothing. The peaceful coastal view, the lush greenery, and the beautiful walking path added to the tranquility of the place. We completely fell in love with this gem and can confidently say it’s one of the best places to unwind and recharge. It was such a satisfying and relaxing experience for both me and my husband. We highly recommend it to anyone to escape and truly relax. We definitely coming back again. 👍👍🥰🥰

Je pense que je vais aller à l’encontre d’un commentaire précédent, Effectivement, on nous demande 1000 pesos de caution à l’arrivée, mais sans dégradation de notre part, on nous les rends au départ. Rien d’extraordinaire ! ALORS si vous cherchez le bon plan pour être dépaysé, au calme, dans un endroit idyllique, ne cherchez pas plus longtemps. Bungalow au bord de la piscine, la mer à 20 m et un petit bar au restaurant au pied de l’eau avec des plats d’une grande qualité. Le patron et le personnel sont d’une grande gentillesse. Je recommande fortement. Merci à vous tous.
