I am not sure I can add more superlatives to my last review - lovely house, perfect location and terrific hospitality.

Deze locatie is echt een droom. Niet alleen zijn Carol en haar man ongelofelijk vriendelijk, ze staan open voor vragen en geven heel leuke tips! De kamer zelf was prachtig. Een mooie badkamer, een goed en groot bed en dat alles super proper met prachtig uitzicht. Het ontbijt was daarnaast ook super lekker, er was veel keuze en de porties waren zeer goed. We kunnen niet anders dan deze locatie aanraden, wij zijn ongelofelijke fan. Een plek die vakantie en rust uitstraalt!

Absolutely georgeous house and room! Home made bread for breakfast by Caroline. She’s a perfect host and gave us all the information about the town, restaurants and things to do. We would highly recommend Caroline and husband for a stay in this lovely area. Thank you so much!

Lovely place to stay overlooking the river from Room 2. We only stayed for one night while waking Hadrian’s wall but felt very welcome and will definitely be back for a longer period next time! Thank you Brian!

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, able to to have coffee and tea in the room. Cafe next door that is cheap and nice for breakfast. Easy to find and parking was very useful!! Would stay again.

Beautiful house with stunning views over Berwick Upon Tweed and the castle. This is one of the nicest Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Caroline and Stuart were very welcoming and kind during our 2 night stay. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the place and were lucky enough to have a top floor bedroom with stunning views over the town and beautiful railway bridge. This was our first visit to Berwick Upon Tweed and we absolutely loved it. We also visited Alnwick and Bamburgh which are a short drive away. Stuart told us about the history of the house and next-door ancient castle as well as some interesting family history. The room was perfect with big comfortable bed. The large bathroom was lovely and clean with a great hot shower. Breakfast was perfect with an array of choices of cereals, fresh bread, juice and homemade jams. Caroline even made us fresh scrambled eggs from their chickens in the garden. This is a special Airbnb and we will definitely be back. Five Stars.

The room looks just like the photo. The whole house was spotless/clean/tidy. Avril & Angus were welcoming and really helpful - the perfect hosts. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice. And the in-room snacks & drinks were plentiful. Hoping to stay again next year xx

Fantastic place for a weekend break, had my own area upstairs with a small room to the side of the bedroom for breakfast making/easting. Bedroom was very spacious and the bed was most comfy and clean. Great host, very friendly and provided good local recommendations. Parking was perfect (on driveway) and directions were also easy to follow. Definitely would recommend for others if they want a trip to the north of England, great history and walks very close by and Newcastle is about a 50 minute train ride.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding at a local venue, was 10 mins away and easy enough to book a cab to get there. Very clean, friendly staff (lad on his first day did a great job) and in one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K. I’ve ever visited. Portable heater in the room was very very useful as well and easy enough to figure out. Staff even returned an item I left in the room after checking out before I left, which I was really grateful for.

Steve is a fantastic host!! Warm and welcoming. The House is lovely and cosy, was the perfect overnight stay for the event I was up in the area for. Steve put on a great breakfast including delicious home made bread. Can’t recommend enough. Enjoy

Absolutely charming hosts Stephanie & Ned made me feel at home despite last minute change (when my wife couldn’t join me) Their B&B is so lovely and comfortable. It’s quiet and the view from the bedroom window overlooking the village green is enchanting. Breakfast both days was delicious and generous. Can’t wait to have another excuse to stay here again (next time with my wife!)

If you want to get away from everything except nature and cheese, this is the perfect B&B (Jane also serves supper on request).

What a beautiful home, in a beautiful location. Pat was an amazing host, was very responsive to my questions and went over and beyond to make me feel welcome. The dogs were extremely well natured and a delight to be around. I had a very relaxing weekend, with great food and company. So thanks again.

Julia is very friendly and easy to stay with - I also appreciated the use of the kitchen and other areas of your very tidy home. Very walkable location, close by to the Metro and also some local shops which are handy for food/anything you may need. I will not hesitate to book again if available and highly recommend to anyone needing somewhere to say locally if you are looking for a home away from home!

Firstly, and most importantly, Sara was the most incredible host. She is a wonderful human, and looked after me perfectly. Coffee and breakfast in the morning. She arranged a seat in the sun for reading outside in the afternoon, and pre-lit the fire in the evening so the private living room was cozy on my return from dinner. And so much more. Birkenpath is a gem of a house, set in the most gorgeous nature. Large and comfy bedroom inside, and gorgeous hikes just out the front door. Don’t hesitate to book. It is among the very best of the best.

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Dominic and Elaine, for an unforgettable experience!

We had a amazing stay with Annabel and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. She was really nice and friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her place!
