Ben's Hut

Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format --- we charge an additional £10 per night for the bunk, this is added automatically when you book for 3 people. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully insulated with central heating the hut is cosy warm at any time of year. The Humble Hut

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
