Nicole's house in Marbella was a wonderful experience overall! The property is beautifully situated with stunning views and a serene atmosphere, making our getaway truly special. The house was well-maintained, and the amenities were top-notch. However, one minor hiccup was that the farthest casita unfortunately was short on water supply for showers. While this was a bit inconvenient, We made the most of the situation and enjoyed ourselves to the max which helped ease the situation. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Costa Rica!

Beautiful stay up in the hills - it really felt like your very own private oasis. We saw howler monkey, coatis, and various birds and insects. The pebbled driveway is a bit tough to get up, so make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle. Maria (pm) was there upon arrival and presented us with a gift basket and thorough instructions. She was responsive throughout the stay - constantly providing recommendations and solutions to any issues that arose. The issues that did arise were related to an electrical issue that impacted the swimming pool and lights area, but Maria was quick to offer an apology and send someone out for repair. It was by no fault of the owners or pm - this can happen in Costa Rica (pura vida). The house was beautifully decorated and well-aerated. Overall, loved our stay and will definitely stay with them in the future! Thank you for hosting us. 🙂

Our stay at Villa Lola was amazing. We had 3 families stay there and we all felt so comfortable and relaxed. They made everything so easy for us. You can walk everywhere from there and if you can’t, David will help with any transportation, and/or activity you would like to do.

Are you familiar with the concept of barefoot luxury? Well, this place has it all. To disconnect and recharge, this is the perfect spot. There’s only one TV in the hallway on the second floor, but you’ll probably never turn it on because all you really need is the view of the ocean and the mountains, surrounded by all the nature you could imagine. The service and communication have been extraordinary, and we’re truly grateful to have spent a few days here. We’ve had the opportunity to stay in many different places around the world, but this has been one of our absolute favorites. Don’t think twice if this place is available. Pura Vida!

Louis's Samara home has set the bar against which all other AirBNB's are judged. I've stayed at AirBNBs around the world and this was our favorite. The home was immaculate, well furnished, and had a lot of little touches that elevated the experience. My kids (7, 4, and 2) loved the pool (perfect size and temperature for them), the constant visits from hummingbirds, and the sounds of howler monkeys. My wife and I loved the number and quality of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, outdoor area, and bedding in the house. Louis was extremely responsive and checked in to ensure our stay went well. The proximity to Samara and Playa Carrillo was perfect for our family.

If you want peaceful and remote, this is the place for you! We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Giselle’s place was less than 5 min from Playa Coco, which was the best beach in the area (we didn’t surf but seemed like everyone that did also went there). There are not a ton of restaurants in the area, but as it’s easy to cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the beautiful views from the Airbnb, I’d recommend bringing your own groceries, striking up a fire and settling in. Watched the birds come in every morning from bed!

We absolutely loved our time at Pura Vista Hills. This place is magic and beyond the best of what we imagined. We appreciated all of the beautiful details and flow to the space. Home has exceptional design qualities. Felt like a slice of paradise! We highly recommend it to any travelling these parts.

Erik's home is a well kept secret along with the beach, Playa Carrillo. We will continue to return yearly as the whole experience; the beach, the town, the restaurants and especially Erik's home are just outstanding. Every facet of our vacations there have always been 5 star. I want to thank Erik and Damaris for sharing their slice of paradise with my wife and I, thank you!

This house was our home for a couple of weeks, and it was exactly right. It's beautiful and spacious, surrounded by lush landscape, wonderful details. It was the perfect location for us, as we were a group of friends all doing different things that were all accessible - surfing, yoga, ceramics classes, etc. The house was also great for everyone to hang out in the together comfortably and go swimming in the beautiful pool and make meals together. There was a beautiful pixote that visited, and a family of howler monkeys that ate the little papaya tree in the yard. Heaven! This place is perfect, and in a perfect location. Would book again for our next Nosara trip for sure.

Great stay at Anna’s place. Two identical 3 bedroom 3 bath apartments. In a part of town we had never stayed in before but really liked it - short walk to beach and to town. We rented a golf cart and ATV as well. She provides plenty of beach gear as well! And powerful blenders for margaritas and daiquiris! Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning property in Playa Carrillo! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, comfort, and peacefulness of this place. Nestled just minutes from one of Costa Rica’s most pristine and uncrowded beaches, this property is the definition of paradise. The home is impeccably maintained, stylishly decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the sounds of nature, enjoying coffee with ocean breezes, and ending the day with a dip in the pool under the stars—it was pure magic. The location is also ideal: close to Carrillo Beach (one of the best in the country), a short drive to the charming town of Samara, and surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering great recommendations and making sure every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable Costa Rican escape, look no further. This place is a true gem

We absolutely loved our stay in Nosara. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect - just a few minutes walk away from great food and Playa Palada and only a short drive (or slightly longer walk) from Playa Guiones. The pool at the house was super refreshing after a long day at the beach. Kattia was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We couldn't have had a better stay or experience, thank you!

We had an amazing stay at caroline spot. the Villa was very spacious and clean, the compound was beautiful and well maintained. it was fun to have other families and travelers around to chat with but still felt very private. and Carolyn was super helpful daily through our week long stay. I was nervous about the walk on the main road with kids and it's not ideal but a very short stretch. with young kids we definitely felt like a golf cart or transport of some kind was essential to get down to the beach easily and other spots but it certainly is walkable to everything sans little kids.

Our family of 10 includes 3 generations who really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful 5 BR, 4 +2 bath home in Samara Woods called Casa Niri. The grandkids nicknamed this our “Castle” because the digs were so delightful & “awesome!” The Xfinity fresh water pool was simply amazing & the view from here & from most of the rooms at this home was incredible!! This offering has a great layout for a group of 10 to 12 & is a lovely tastefully decorated residence in a safe, private neighborhood. Mery and her crew did a great job cooking some incredible meals. They cleaned, helped with our needs, & made our stay extra special. The other features that impressed us were the very comfortable beds, 2 kitchens, a fantastic lanai, bathroom appointments, available laundry room, lots of games, & close to town & the beach. We enjoyed seeing the turtle hatch her eggs, horse back rides in the rain forest & on the beach, ziplines, surfing lessons, & more. We stayed 7 nights & it was just about perfect!!

Casa Verano was a wonderful place to unwind and I wish we could have stayed more than 3 nights! Our family of 4 had plenty of space to relax and we took advantage of the pool and awesome location. I would definitely come back.

Un hospedaje increible, a solo pocos minutos de bellas playas como San Juanillo, Avellanas, Conchal. La villa es hermosa y realmente te hace sentir como en casa. Recomendado al 100%

This place is beautiful! It was super clean and the amenities are great. Sandy is a great host and even shared restaurant recommendations. Make sure to go in an SUV or 4x4 car since the streets to get there have a lot of potholes.

Amazing place in every aspect. You are in nature, have privacy and a very well equipped and clean apartment/house. Location is also great... 5min from beach (you need some kind of vehicle to get around though). Cleaning every 2-3 days with fresh towels etc. Yet, the best thing about the place is the host Juan!!! He’s incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond—offering airport pickup, drop-off, and even taking us on a first grocery run. His hospitality made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!

Casa Jobo is the perfect place in Nosara - far enough away from the crowds but close enough when you want to partake in Guiones activities. Additionally, the property is amazing as it was the perfect size for us and for friends when they visited. The pool and the outside property is beautiful and David and the rest of the team are exceptional - always there for you when you need. Can't wait to be back!

It was perfect! The house is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed and more! The pool and outdoor space are dreamy, and the surroundings are breathtaking. I started every day with yoga outside and a dip in the pool, then made breakfast in the very well-appointed kitchen. Oh, and the outdoor bathtub is just as glorious as it looks! Roman is an excellent host; he was welcoming and gave us so many helpful suggestions for where to grab groceries, fresh fish and meals, to all sorts of beaches to explore. It’s absolutely incredible! We highly recommend it. Pura Vida!

We had a great stay at Casa Shiva! It’s tucked back off of the main roads but with their directions our drivers had no problem finding it. Very welcoming place, felt secure and well kept. Air conditioning worked great, the pool was perfect and felt very private, was cleaned and maintained 3x in the 8 days we were there. Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen stuff, games, tv which we used to stream music. A short walk to Playa Pelada, so peaceful and amazing sunsets. Any questions or recommendations, Jordy the house manager was quick to respond and super helpful :) I would recommend some form of transportation for shopping or excursions, the walk to the market can be hot if you are not accustomed to the weather. We had a golf cart which was fun and made it easy. On our final night we were treated to approx 15 howler monkeys traversing across the trees by the pool, up the roof of the casita to climb the next trees over. Fantastic family vacation spot

My husband and I rented Casa de los Sueños for two weeks this year and we can’t say enough wonderful things about our time there. It’s a great house! Tim is very kind and sent ahead a lot of information about the house and the area. We were met by his property manager Melissa upon arrival and she is so kind and sweet! The house has everything you need and the pool is the best for cooling off and just general enjoyment. We used the outside dining area for dinners all the time and the table is quite an attraction and work of art. The bikes at the house were key for us- we road them everywhere. They makes it easy to get to town/beach/etc. The house is a bit out of town and while walking there is definitely doable it takes a bit so you would want to plan or use the bikes (or rent a golf cart or something). Soda Samarena is just across the street and has delicious food and the sunsets at Buena Vista are spectacular. I would highly recommend this house and hope to stay next year!

Aaron's house was one the best Airbnbs we've experienced and perfect for a couple or small family looking for a small slice of paradise. The property is very private and secure and the spaces are exceptionally well thought out. Besides the close proximity to Baker's beach, the outdoor space including the verandah, pool and lounging areas are thoughtfully designed for enjoyment. The kitchen is very functional for cooking meals at home. The living room is comfortable and if the sliding door to the verandah is open, it's a perfect outdoor living set up. Overall, it is obvious that Aaron has thought of details that can make or break an Airbnb experience and we appreciated that this home felt like a home and not just a space with the basics necessary for rental.
