I've spent there a month with my wife and we were both satisfied. It's a part of Plagoo apartments so in the end you're a hotel guest with all the benefits - free breakfast, gym, pool, reception, cleaning service etc. Breakfast is quite good, in form of a buffet. The apartment is clean and spacious. There is a kitchen but it's not something you'll use often in Bali. AC works good. Noting interesting in the walking distance, which is not a big deal given you can rent a scooter or easily get a taxi. It's far from main roads which makes the area quiet. Very communicative host. Definitely recommend.

We have stayed with Made a dozen times maybe and consider him a friend. He is a true gentleman , both honest and kind. Consider yourself lucky if you can book this suite. It’s very spacious, with a kitchen stocked with enough equipment if you like to do some cooking. The neighbourhood feels more like authentic Bali not so tourist oriented but close to Ubud. Fantastic new discovery within walking distance, Coconut Kitchen. Freshly cooked and delicious but cheap food. We prefer to get takeaway to enjoy eating it in our open dining room with sunset over rice fields. The bed might be the best of trip so far. Good wifi. We’ll stay here to start our trip every time if we can.

Enjoyed our time staying in Nusa dua. All in all a great stay, you will be happy! Note for people coming here there is a Coco Express opposite the Novotel to get your needs for the first night. Walk out the exit past the Pause Cafe and turn left on the road. It will be on the opposite side of the road to the hotel.

Villa Madu is a charming place with a gorgeous garden. Magnolia Cottage is a rustic, simple but comfortable place to stay. Our experience was like staying in a small boutique hotel rather than AirBnB. The staff were attentive and the location is quiet but central. Breakfast by the pool in the sala area was delightful. Recommend the Lemongrass Warung next door for delicious and very affordable meals too!

The place is amazing. It is spacious with great ocean view. There’s an access to the private beach. The host is friendly and responsive. Definitely enjoy our time spent in the villa.

FANTASTIC! The villa was so big! And we got free a breakfast and a dessert after dinner! The food was so good! Really enjoyed my short vacation. Hope to comeback soon!

Booked this villa last minute as we weren't happy with our hotel... host was very helpful and even guided our taxi driver to the property. perfect place to relax after a busy 2 week holiday full of adventure- staff cannot do enough to help you

This villa is even bigger in real life than what it looks like. It is very clean with massive water bottles supplied and even some complimentary snacks and drinks. Big water bottles are supplied too so you don't need to buy any on the way (which we had already done). Any small issues we had during our stay were quickly addressed by our host. The beds are huge although a little hard for my liking and the pillows a bit too lofty but that is a personnal thing. There are plenty of books to read if you forget yours. Would definitely stay again. The hotel itself is very nice with all hotel amenities available to us as villa guests. Breakfast at Square was average so after 2 mornings there we decided to try Pause Cafe instead. Sooo much better. Great coffee and amazing omelets for around 150,000 IDR rather than the 230,000 IDR charged at the restaurant (although the cafe is not a buffet). All in all a beautiful stay.

We had a group of 8 people, and the set up of the rooms allowed us each to have our own space and balconies. The rooms were clean, and cleaned well daily. The staff was polite and helpful. It is down a side alley, so quiet and private, but the main street has plenty of shops and restaurants. And it is an easy walk to the art market, Ubud Palace, and monkey forest road. This is a lot like a homestay, and quite Balinese. If you are looking for a chain hotel or something fancy, this is not it. But if you want a balance between local Balinese expereince with still some western comforts, this is perfect. The rooftop pool was clean and provided a great view of sunrise. There was clean water and coffee in each room. And they have an honor fridge for drinks.
