Location was excellent for our purposes (in the center of the city, few minutes walking distance from the University, the market and the railway station) The host was a bit slow in responding before arrival in the UK, but issues regarding were resolved upon arrival at the airport. Overall the apartment was in good to excellent condition apart from some issues which were considered minor due to the relative short stay of 8 days. (One window was very tricky to open and close, the freezer needed some defrosting, one of the faucets had a broken drainer, no towels or sheets were changed during the length of our stay)

Had a lovely stay in the lodge. Beds comfy, place was clean and luxurious, great to have robes for when utilising the hot tub. Temp of hot tub did unfortunately vary and was cold on first night but soon sorted through instructions from host. Overall a very lovely stay with beautiful views and secluded quiet environment.WiFi a bonus! Lovely touches including bottle of wine, welcome note and folder providing info on local area and places to eat. We enjoyed visiting the foxton locks, the local tearoom and the local market for some lovely fresh produce.

Wonderful stay. Lynden accommodated all needs and helped make a birthday truly special. Couldn’t recommend more for a weekend stay. Hot tub was the highlight! Lovely and warm and looks over farms with plenty of animals, that are all super friendly.

Another amazing stay at Dave’s Farm Lodge! This was our second time staying at Dave’s and it was just as perfect as we remembered — if not better. The place is peaceful, spotless, and beautifully set up with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell Dave puts real care into every detail, from the cozy touches inside to the well-kept surroundings outside. Waking up to the quiet countryside and sipping coffee with those views is something we truly look forward to. Dave is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and respectful of privacy, but always there if you need anything. This has officially become one of our favorite getaway spots, and we already know we’ll be back again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in a serene and welcoming space!

Just got home from a lovely, relaxing stay here. Met up with 5 friends who now live all over the country and this was a great, central location. Tom met us as we arrived and showed us how everything worked. House was clean with some quirky lamps, each bedroom had an en-suite plus kettle and cups. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Lost many an hour chatting away while sat in it. Would definitely stay again.

From beginning to the end - great communication. There was a small issue with the hot tub on arrival, but they were already on it. It really was a lovely place and relaxing; well equipped. Pub was an 18 minute walk, but nice following the reservoir. Watch out for the pub opening times and when they serve food! For coffee and a snack try Dusty's in a neighbouring village.

The old Piggery was perfect for our family (including dogs!). The place itself was bigger than what we were expecting and had everything we needed. Super clean and great water pressure. If Jenny will have us back we would love to have this as our go to stay when we are visiting friends and family. Thank you so much.

This is our second time staying here and just like before everything was perfect. Our son really enjoyed seeing all the sheep from the lodge and it's a short drive into Barrow for everything you need during your stay

Absolutely spectacular location and place—one of my all-time favorite Airbnbs. Incredibly quiet and peaceful, yet 10 minutes from town and attractions. Very communicative and helpful host. Hope to stay again next year!

Both Lindsay and Ken were both wonderful hosts; warm and friendly, and always keen to help. Although my stay was short, I was offered a lift to and from points of interest multiple times, and never felt I was being a burden on them. Shared many enjoyable talks with my hosts but equally, they allowed me plenty of privacy throughout. Lovely location, close to town but far enough away from the noise to enjoy the greenery and space. Hospitality this good is hard to come by- would thoroughly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay and getting back to basics (although there is everything you need), and mainly cooking on the fire. But key was the kids absolutely loved it and the freedom. There was lots to do on site and it really was beautiful, especially being on the water in the canoes. It was also lovely to meet John and the others staying there at the time. We also had a great afternoon at the stunning Bradgate Park.

John is a lovely kind man who went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect. The cabin has everything you could need. It was great to be able to relax out front and take advantage of the canoes in which we had a lot of fun. In the evening we made a fire which made the cabin lovely and warm. We will be visiting again and would highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at Nichole’s place. Fantastic communication in the lead up to arrival. The place was very easy to find and all set up exactly how we needed. She even left tea, milk and a delicious chocolate cake for us on arrival. The house was perfect for what we needed, lots of space, comfortable beds and a great welcome pack with all instructions and recommendations for the local area. We really enjoyed the basket of kids toys and the chest of drawers full of games to entertain lots of small children. We filled the place and it still felt spacious, we would definitely consider booking again. Thanks

By far the best lodge we’ve stayed in. The place was spotless the beds are lovely and comfortable and it had everything you could. We had young children with us and they loved it. The views are absolutely incredible and even better when the sun is setting. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s even better than it looks in the photos! We will definitely be back for another visit. The host are lovely people as well. 10/10

Great little place, comfortable and handy location.

Lyla and Stephen have crafted a beautiful little holiday home separate from their house, but on the same property and they are perfect hosts. My son and I loved our stay which was walking distance from the City Cricket Academy where my son did a half term camp

Host Chris was very welcoming and informative. Lodge was a lovely retreat for two in perfect location, very private and peaceful. Would highly recommend local farm shop Farndon Fields Market Harborough, great local produce and we ate a delicious breakfast there. Market Harborough itself worth a visit too. Local pub Coach & Horses Lubenham is under new management, very friendly and good selection of well kept beers. Would highly recommend, we are already looking to book again. Ian & Gee

Marina is a really lovely host. We communicated very well and made everything so easy. The place is lovely with plenty of space for a few nights away. Place is clean and has a fantastic location for town especially if you are visiting for Loughborough fair.

Nikola has created a wonderful place for her guests. Her shepherd’s rest with its cozy fire, the lovely sheep with their lambs nearby, and the delightful welcome treats in the apartment! It was a beautiful getaway.
