We had an incredible stay at this beautiful countryside home in Oakhurst, California. The property offers breathtaking views of the valley, providing a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. Our group came for a therapeutic retreat, and this space was absolutely perfect for our purpose. The interior was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable rooms and stunning views from every angle. The host clearly puts a lot of care into maintaining the home, and we felt welcomed and at ease throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Wonderful place to stay with unlimited things to do and natural beauty around you.

We were fortunate to find Cabernet's house at the last min while looking for a place to ring in 2025. Nestled at the top of the perimeter of the Yosemite valley in Oakhurst, the house is a rare find. The weather was beautiful, we got to breath refreshing fresh air and got to enjoy all the amenities at the place. Things we enjoyed. <> Wood burning indoor fireplace. The house was nice and toasty. Perfect for end of Dec/Jan temperatures. <> Large fenced yard for our fur babies. I must say this was the highlight of the trip as it's not easy to find properties that have a completely fenced backyard. Our two husky girls sure enjoyed running around a clean grassy hard. Thank you or WOOF WOOF ! <> Beautiful furniture, clean carpets, well stocked kitchens with a lots of pots and pans to cook. <> Cabernet is super responsive. Very happy about this since a host that communicates well makes the entire experience special ! Thanks Cabernet. Looking forward to visiting again !

Very beautiful home with very spacious rooms for family to enjoy. Only thing I would add is some curtains in the house there is zero privacy especially if the cabin next to the house is being rented out at the same time since you are able to see them and they can see you. Other than that me and my family had a great time.

Une pause détente pendant notre road trip aux USA. Quel calme et quel cadre magnifique ! Il y avait tout le nécessaire dont nous avions besoin (serviettes, produits de toilette, condiments et sauce dans la cuisine) et nous avons adoré le jacuzzi au coucher de soleil. Nous sommes allés jusqu’au Lake Bass et surprise sur le retour, nous avons même eu la chance de voir un ours.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful, it met (and exceeded) all of our expectations and needs for this brief but special trip to Yosemite with our family visiting from England. Steve was very responsive and helpful from start to end, and has done an exceptional job in creating and maintaining a comfortable, clean, spacious and cozy space to experience the majestic beauty of Yosemite! Will definitely go back and stay there again!!

Renté la cabaña luego de visitar Yosemite Park y fue la mejor decisión. Tiene una vista hermosa del valle y tiene muchos detalles de madera, el jacuzzi le da un plus muy grande sobre todo cuando vienes de un día de Trekking. Muy recomendado!

We had an amazing stay at this incredible property near Yosemite! We were a group of four girls from UCLA visiting in March, and even though this home is designed for larger groups, the host was kind enough to accommodate us. The house is absolutely luxurious, with every amenity you could ask for. The space is huge, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked. The setting in March was stunning—lush greenery everywhere, with daily sightings of deer and other wildlife. The weather was mild, and while it was a little early to swim, we loved relaxing in the heated spa next to the large pool. The location is perfect—very close to Yosemite while still offering convenient access to groceries and essentials. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-appointed retreat near the park

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were responsive and wonderfully communicative. The house is beautifully maintained and everything we expected and way more. The AC was on for us, making unpacking much more pleasant. The beds are super comfortable, and the bedding so soft. The living room was perfect for lounging with our group. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and the BBQ was pristine. Couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a weekend with your nearest and dearest.

Amazing house with incredible views and amenities. Anne was very responsive with any questions we had, and they added a sauna between booking and our stay which was a nice surprise. Beds were very comfortable and lots of room and bathrooms for a group of 5 adults. Would recommend staying here!

We had a great stay here. After hiking Yosemite all day, the hot tub on the wrap around deck was a group favorite. Very spacious house with everything you need. We will be back to bring more friends.

Our stay was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The StoneHouse was exceptionally clean and beautiful, had everything a family or person could ever need, was superb in quality, with luxurious furnishing and materials. We were there with our 5 year old daughter, they even had a cabinet full of toys and books for her to play with, which was so thoughtful. Even if we would have been without a kid, we would have never even noticed these details. This exceptional StoneHouse villa is a perfect and luxurious get-away for everyone, and it’s worth every second of its price. It looks even better in real life. I am the type of person to never want to go back to the same place, but this villa makes me already want to plan another visit. This in combination with the amazing Yosemite National park and the town of Mariposa, is like a chefs kiss. Thank you for the amazing experience and help to all the people who were available 24/7 to help us out ❤️

This place is perfect for nature lovers and anyone looking for a private retreat. The house is spacious enough for a large group, with plenty of fun activities and games to enjoy. We had a fantastic stay and absolutely loved it here!

This spot was perfect for our little family of three. Half way between Yosemite's South Gate and the surprisingly well-equipped town of Oakhurst, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would book this place again. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive when asked a question or two during the visit. The wood-burning stove and the hot tub were a bonus for tired legs after long hikes, and a cozy atmosphere and opportunity to warm up during nightly movies while relaxing. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a non-hotel option that's very private and slightly off the beaten path.

This place was a great little private place. There’s neighbors near by, but you have enough privacy. My husband and I were looking for a small great getaway and this place was it. Plus, you had a jacuzzi, which unfortunately we didn’t not have the chance to use, but I would have loved to experience under the stars. The complimentary wine was delicious. Michael was a great help in giving recommendations. I would definitely stay here again! All I have to say is couples book it, don’t think about it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Avand was super helpful and accommodating & his place met all our expectations. Some highlights for me were the disco ball in the back patio/kitchenette area, the hot tub and the hammock & the bidet lol. And of course the constant sound of frogs and crickets :) We also had some turkey friends that visited daily. The location is an easy drive to downtown mariposa with a bunch of great little restaurants, grocery stores and shops. And a beautiful 50min-1hr drive to Yosemite! Highly recommend & would stay again!

Absolutely charming! A stay to remember. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this beautiful place. Pimmy and Jason were incredibly attentive. Communication before arrival was fluid, and they gave us a warm welcome and some local recommendations. The accommodation itself was cozy, spotless, and full of charm. the love and attention to detail were evident. We especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable bed, and the peaceful garden. The location was perfect for exploring the area—quiet and relaxing. We loved it. But beyond the beauty of the place, what truly made our stay special was the warmth and hospitality of the host, and the welcoming atmosphere that permeated every corner. Cabin is perfectly located, very close to town with lots of restaurants and stores, and very convenient for daily travel to Yosemite! The cabin is clean and has everything one might need to stay for a while. Very satisfied with the stay!

Bob & Barbara's place was fantastic and they were so responsive to the couple questions we had! The home is perfect for a Yosemite visit. It is literally less than 10 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite and only about 20 minutes to Oakhurst. The entire home is so cozy and so clean! We especially loved the hot tub after long days in the park. We also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which we were able to make full family meals in over the New Year's holidays. The fireplacewas great to cozy up to and read or watch a movie. We truly had the best time and cannot wait to come back!
