This was a great location, we loved being right on the beach and the walking path. The apartment was easy to access and had everything we needed, including walkable restaurants and parking. Tina was responsive, and helped us to find everything we needed.

We stayed here in 2024 and loved it so much that we came back! The hosts, place itself and location were all awesome! Loved watching the sunset from the porch and walking into town for fish tacos or the Wednesday market. Also enjoyed running along the path by the water while my husband surfed. Thanks so much, we can't wait to return!

Title: Great Value, but be Prepared for Noise I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had an overall positive experience. The location was fantastic—easy to find, and it was conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The host was responsive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Considering the price compared to other options in the area, I felt it was a great value. However, one thing to note is that the property is in the flight path for San Diego airport. While this wasn’t an issue once I fell asleep, the noise from the planes, neighbors, and outdoor sounds made it a bit challenging to get to sleep on the first few nights. The walls seemed a bit thin, so I could hear quite a bit of outside noise. Overall, I'd recommend staying here, but be prepared for the noise—especially if you're a light sleeper. Amazing location! The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The beds and couches were comfortable. You can hear the waves crashing because you are so close to the beach. We enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the waves and going for walks along the water in the mornings. The location was just 15-20 away from every sight we wanted to visit in the San Diego area. We appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a football to borrow. The laundry machines are down the hall, not in the apartment, if that matters to you. We had no trouble using them.

Excellent location, can’t put in to words how incredible it is to be right on the ocean. If you’re a light a sleeper, the crashing waves may be a touch loud, but it was perfect for me. Super easy to park and access the unit. It’s right in the heart of Windansea beach. Shower water pressure and hot water were excellent (this is hard to come by in California). Host was excellent. Responsive, communicative, and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay at Glenna's place on Mission Bay. It's a spacious apartment, incredibly well equipped. With kids there was everything. The Garage is perfect to not stress about parking. Walk right out onto the bay, walk two blocks and be on the oceanside. Good food and coffee locations, playground across the street. Strongly recommend.

We had an amazing stay. Chris was very responsive. The view is incredible. Hearing the waves is soothing. The place is kids friendly with toys and books that are very fun. The area has lots of food choices. It takes just a few mins to be right on the beach. He has a wagon and beach toys. This was a very hassle free, enjoyable stay with our three little kids. No one wanted to leave.

Great location and staff was very nice. You still have a bit of privacy even though you are right there on the boardwalk which is one of the plus. Really nice to walk out of place and ten steps you are on the beach. Great views from inside this location as well, along with hearing the ocean make this a plus. As mentioned you are on boardwalk so there is noise from those folks. Space inside location is great. Parking is tight in the garage so if parking on the street may want to park over in Mission Bay area. There is parking in front of the Bluewater office but you have to pay. Some negatives, where there is a mystery stereo that would play random times in the speakers in the kitchen but was good music. Cleaning fee high, when arrived found some treats the previous folks dog left and items down the kitchen drain. Provide towels and washer/dryer but will need soap to clean them if need to reuse for several days. Provided other beach items which was a plus. Would stay again.

This is a superb location for the rental. I was thoroughly pleased on the condo, great amenities with such a comfortable and cozy home feel. I am immediately looking forward to rent again, comfortable in price as well. Our host Eric went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of in every aspect with great communication. Can't wait to be back and I highly recommend this place, I sure will with my friends.

Awesome Airbnb property and even better host. Very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Had a great time at this property even though it was a short trip. Perfect location walking distance to great food and drink (Bayside landing and Rocky’s). The hot tub was a huge plus and we enjoyed all the amenities this place has! Will definitely be back when in the area and would recommend this spot to anyone considering.

Very responsive and easy to contact. Especially with the owner's onsite assistant. If you love the ocean this if for you! With the door open you can hear the soothing sound of waves throughout the unit. The view through the sliding door is nothing but ocean as far as the eye can see. Sunsets galore. With the windows closed it is peaceful and quiet. The beach was clean and family friendly. I recommend this unit. I also recommend the Brigantine restaurant just a couple blocks away.

Great place, easy walk to beach or downtown. Ryan’s place is very well stocked with everything you could need. We had a great time!! There was even a Christmas tree up (we were there over Christmas) which made it feel very homey. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

This was our second stay with them and an awesome stay as expected! Carlsbad Village is one of my favorite places and this is definitely the spot you want to stay considering the close proximity to everything. Very clean, spacious and welcoming. Can’t wait to stay again!!

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!

We are return guests at Amy and Matt's condo. The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Amy and Matt are hospitable and responsive. The unit has a beautiful ocean view from the patio off of the living room. The complex is easy to navigate in a beautiful setting on the cliffs overlooking the beach. My family feels welcomed and comfortable at Matt and Amy's condo!
