We choose this location so we could be close to Clemson University for the football game. Highly suggest this location especially with a group of people .

This is a great house to rent if you are visiting Clemson. Easy access to Lake Hartwell and the hosts will rent you a pontoon boat. We rented it for the weekend and went out on the water. It was very relaxing! There is a golf cart included with the house and we took it down to the dock where the boat is located. Great fire pit which is fun to hang out at during the evening. Christine and her husband James were very responsive and accessible for any questions we had. The house is very nice and the neighbors are even nicer. Everyone in this area is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. Southern hospitality to its fullest for sure.

Wonderful rental with everything you need. Lake and dock were amazing. It was so quiet and relaxing. Comfortable beds and everything you need to feel right at home, even had games and things for entertainment when you needed a break from the water.

I had a short stay for work, but Josh was really helpful and accommodating. I appreciate the local hibachi recommendation for dinner. Everything was great. Getting in was easy. Checkout was simple. I would love to stay again next time.

Everything was a staged an convenient!

Nestled in a quiet, peaceful area, this cottage boasts stunning lake views and multiple outdoor spaces including a screened porch, a deck with a fire pit, and a private boat dock. Each room is beautifully decorated, providing a cozy, homelike atmosphere. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the property is very dog-friendly, complete with secure areas for pets to enjoy. Terri, our host, was extraordinary—proactive in communication, attentive to our needs, and incredibly kind, making our stay comfortable and memorable. Her hospitality especially made my Easter weekend retreat far better than I could have anticipated. The combination of the beautiful setting and Terri’s warm hospitality made the Red Door Cottage a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to returning for another peaceful retreat!

Great house for fishing. Close to the bait shop and numerous boat docks. nice dock at the house to tie up your boat and fish also.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was private, peaceful and beautiful. We went for an Easter getaway and to visit our daughter at Clemson. Maggie was meticulous with every detail from a goody basket, towels, instructions and even invited us to her house for Easter dinner! The kitchen had everything item you can imagine and we loved being able to walk around their property. The pigs were a special treat! We will definitely be back whenever we need a relaxing weekend on the lake! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
