This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

My husband and I had 3 great nights at Hill Top house. It was certainly dramatic excentuated by our arrival in the dark on the first night and waking in the morning to glorious sunshine and stunning views out to the Pacific, not to mention the monkey troop walking along the tree line behind the house. The house is as described and is a modernist gem. We would not hesitate to stay again. We only wished we had booked it for longer.

山の上だったので、季節的にも虫が出るのを覚悟していたのですが、とにかく中がとても綺麗に掃除されていて、清潔で、虫は蜘蛛1匹出たぐらいでした。 足りないアメニティや設備はなく、掃除も細かいところまで行き届いていて、快適に過ごせました。テラスから富士山も見えて、素敵な滞在になりました。またリピートさせていただきたいです。

ビーチがすぐそこで、ダイニングに座っていても海が見えて、星が綺麗で、ロケーション、最高でした！3世代の家族旅行でしたが、また来たいです。 電子レンジがないので、小さいお子様などいらっしゃる場合は持ち物に工夫が必要だと思いました。

サウナ、水風呂、天然温泉はいずれも気持ちよく利用できました！施設の説明もわかりやすくしていただき、快適に宿泊することができました。

We very much enjoyed our stay here ! The house is very large with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, bath tubs both indoors and outdoors and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is located in a peaceful forest area away from the crowds. If you have a dog, there are also plenty of facilities for your pet. Very easy to get from the house to Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pegoda, the 7 seas of Oshino, many temples, gardens, museums and also the F1 racetrack. If you have a car, this home is a perfect base to get everywhere. We really felt at home and enjoyed that everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds.

Eine mega schöne Unterkunft, in der man seine Ruhe hat und die Natur genießen kann. Das Highlight ist das private Onsen, welches einen perfekten Abschluss eines jeden Tages bildet. Gabriel‘s Unterkunft steht definitiv wieder auf meiner Liste beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Hakone.

The location is close to the main road, there are many restaurants around, there is also a supermarket. This house have 2 floors is quite comfortable for 13 of us, 6 adults and also 7 children. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There are 4 rooms here, we only use 3 rooms is enough, there is still 1 room with a tent to play. And 1 toilet near stairs. On the 1st floor there is a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, toilet, and a large playroom. Outside the house there is a large yard, suitable for children to play Unfortunately we arrived here at night and only slept overnight, the next morning we had to continue our journey so we couldn't enjoy the facilities

We had an amazing time during our 3 day weekend ! Place was exactly as per the pictures and we had the feeling of being in another country ! Beach really close by (walkable distance but with hill to get back to the house), convenient store and grocery shopping near by if you have a car. Would happily come back for holidays !

My family and I stayed here for three days and two nights, and we definitely had amazing experiences here. We reached quite late around 7pm but Kyoko-san patiently waited for us, greeted us and gave nice tour around the house. Even the home owner and the other co-hosts were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. For the next two mornings, we were blessed; greeted by the lovely Mount Fuji and the view from the house was spectacular ❤️ We came here during the Eid month, so we even had family Eid photos here! Such memorable experiences, and we would definitely recommend this place to others :)

We stayed in this lovely home just outside of town, nestled in nature, for one month and felt right at home. Abhi is a most generous and considerate host, he helped us out from start to finish and made sure we had the best time in the Shimoda area. You do not need a car if staying here as the beach and a couple of restaurants are only about a 10 min walk from the house and convenience store about 20 minutes and a couple more good restaurants / bars about 35 minutes. But if you want to visit more sites in the area or go to the grocery store we'd recommend a car. The main reason we were visiting the area was to dive with the huge schools of Hammerhead sharks just off the coast here. Without a car the dive center can pick you up. 建物は非常に綺麗で快適でした。 駐車場は広く、普通車2台とワゴン車1台を停めましたが余裕でした。 ホストの方も返信が早くてとても親切で助かりました。 レビューで気になっていたタオルがあるないですが、バスタオルくらいのサイズの薄いタオルとフェイスタオルは人数分ありました。 鍵のあるトイレと鍵のないトイレの2箇所ありました。

we really enjoyed our stay at the house. The second floor is large and cozy with plenty of room and we used the grill on the covered balcony. It’s a nice neighborhood just up the road from Kisami beach. Thank you!

We had a great stay. Hosts were very helpful with recommendations and getting us cabs into town. The beach was perfect for our 3 kids and a very close walk from the house. They had lots of boogie boards and surf boards available to rent. The Kitchen was well equipped and we loved they had multiple refrigerators since the space used to be a restaurant. The bedrooms were very good size for multiple people. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms and living room. We loved the huge deck for relaxing! Laundry was a bit difficult as there is no dryer. Places to hang dry your clothes were available. One down side to the house is there is no bathroom upstairs, and all the bedrooms were up stairs. I would Deffinetly recommend this great beach house! Thanks guys for a great time.

Fantastisk sted, virkelig hjælpsomt og rareste personale vi nogensinde har oplevet. Vi vil anbefale dette sted til alle der har brug for at slappe af og mærke Japans autentiske sider. Vi fik hjælp af personalet med lift til indkøb og stationen, sågar anbefalede steder til regnfyldte dage. Når vejret er godt, ligger stedet blot 2 minutter fra den skønneste strand. Derudover var det muligt at låne cykler til at udforske den flotte natur og nærliggende by. Når vi kommer tilbage til Japan engang, skal vi ihverfald besøge dette fantastiske sted igen!

Stayed here with some teammates (4 adults +1 child) for the 2025 Va'a Japan Nationals Race. The cozy space was wonderful and had everything we needed to feel right at home and set up a base to compete from. The larger fridge and fully stocked kitchen was a must and the available laundry amenities and clothing lines came in handy since we were constantly cycling through wet clothes. The proximity to the beach was great and we were able to pop back in and rest between the events whenever we wanted. It was also close to a great restaurant and a cluster of vending machines. Unforgettable stay!

Rumi was an awesome host and her place is so well equipped and relaxing. We went in early Spring when it was still very cold and the place was warm and cosy, the living room gets so much sunlight, feels spacious and inviting. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen a few nights and also went to some nearby restaurants. There’s an awesome sourdough pizza place called Fermenco about a 30 min walk away that we loved. And if you come in summer there are so many beaches around but you’ll need a car to get around. Can’t recommend Rumi’s house high enough!

hôte très accueillante et vraiment très gentille. Elle nous a récupéré au 7/11 et nous a accompagné jusqu'au logement. De plus, très flexible pour le check out que nous avons pu faire très tôt pour reprendre la route. Nous recommandons fortement !

Great location and friendly host

Me and my daughter loved staying here. It had a traditional Japanese style room which we loved. It was a little cold, but we were given plenty of heaters and that helped. Located in a very quiet and cosy spot. We hired a car and drove from Tokyo, which I highly recommend if you visit. There is so much to see in the area if you have a car.
