Der Aufenthalt bei Lory war sehr schön, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung, als auch die Lage sind wunderschön, man hat seine Ruhe und ist schnell mit dem Roller oder Bus in der Stadt und die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist wie auf den Fotos! Wir haben von Lory gute Tipps für Restaurants, Rollervermietung und sehenswerte Orte auf der Insel bekommen. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Our favorite place that we have stayed in Sicily. A retreat from the busy cities but close enough to go and see tourist attractions, the beach and eat wonderful food. We loved sitting quietly and reading as well as walking around the home and of course, the outdoor bbq. Perfect place to eat bbq sunset meals and listen to nature. We felt well cared for, the cottage had everything we needed, recommendations were excellent. Make sure to visit the bakery in Santa Rita! Caltanisetta was also a welcoming and beautiful place. Thank you so much, we hope to return and stay much longer!

We really enjoyed our stay in Luca's place! Great to have the jacuzzi, lovely view. Apartment had everything we needed. Near to the beach. Definitely recommend! Very easy communication with the host who was always available to help and gave clear instructions. Thanks!

Eine einfache aber wunderschöne Villa mit viel Platz, mehreren Terassen und einem wunderschönen und unverbautem Blick auf das Meer. Von dort kann man zu Fuß oder auch mit dem Auto die Gegend erkunden und man kann jeden Tag etwas neues entdecken. Sei es das Castello, den Capo Milazzo oder das alte und neue Zentrum der Stadt. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber auch das hat seinen Charme. Ja, es gibt keine richtigen Duschen oder eine Klimaanlage, aber das wurde durch die Aussicht, den großzügigen Garten und vieles mehr wieder wettgemacht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch Alessandra und ihre Familie. Superfreundlich, hilfsbereit und reagieren total nett und zeitnah auf Anfragen. Vielen Dank für 2 tolle Wochen auf Sizilien.

We stayed 4 nights in the flat and went on day trips to Syracusa, Taormina and Etna. First, the flat is confortable, with every bedrooms having shower and toilets. The living room/kitchen is big enough to have breakfast but not enough confortable if you plan to stay the all day inside. Secondly, but up to me, it is well decorated with upcycled stuff. Finally, the flat is well located. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. And few minutes walking from main touristic area. Stazione centrale might be a little bit far away.

Loredana is a fantastic host! She responded right away when we requested a reservation. She checked in with us the day before our arrival. When she learned that we were arriving by train, she offered to pick us up at the station (not at all expected). She checked in with us once during our stay, just to make sure we were doing Ok. Upon our departure, she again offered us a ride to the train station. Her place, Casa "Al Plumbago," is absolutely beautiful! I can not over state the beauty of the view, and of the house itself. The photos don't do it justice. Be ready for lots of stairs, both in the house and getting to/from town. We had a rental car reserved for halfway through our stay. We opted to cancel it because driving and parking in Termini Imerese seem very stressful. We didn't miss having a car. The town itself has plenty of amenities, and the train station, a ten minute walk away, can take you anywhere on the north coast. We hope to come back one day and stay for a month!

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Majutuskoht on hästi askeetlik kuid kõik vajalik on olemas. Küll aga tuleb ise osta tee, kohvi, pesuvahendid ja muud igapäevatarbed, mis paljudes majutuskohtades on olemas. Seega pikemaks peatumiseks sobib hästi. Asukoht see-eest on suurepärane. Väga lähedal Piazza del Duomo, supermkarketid, rongijaam, bussijaam - kõik on jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Omaette majake annab mõnusa privaatsuse ja hubase olemise.

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

Lieu très beau et paisible . L'extérieur est magnifique et tout est très bien entretenue. Andrea est réactif et indique bien toutes les lieux qui sont disponibles dans les environs. Le logement est assez grand pour une famille de 5 et nous y avons passé un excellent moment. Merci pour tout.

Our stay was very pleasant, everything was fine. However, it's important to note that each villa contains a total of three apartments, which might matter for those looking for more privacy.

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine à 6 personnes dans la partie a l étage de la maison. L appartement ne correspond pas tout à fait aux photos puisqu une chambre a été ajoutée dans le salon … mais la pièce de vie reste très spacieuse. Il n y avait pas de volets ( et pas de rideaux opaques dans le salon) ce qui est dommage quand on dort dans le salon et que le soleil se lève a 6h … et surtout pour couper du soleil quand il y fait très chaud . La cuisine n était pas suffisamment équipée plutôt rustique Heureusement que Sonia s est montrée réactive à nos demandes. La Clim était indispensable mais n est pas assez performante pour rafraîchir les chambres. Je dirais que l appartement vaut le coup pour la terrasse et la vue sur Taormina et la tranquillité s il y a du monde au rdc ( cet appartement doit être plus adapté pour un long séjour) .les extérieurs sont vraiment magiques et très appréciables en période de canicule ils sont d ailleurs très bien entretenus .

À notre arrivée de nuit à la Casa de Arena, nous ne pouvions imaginer la vue à couper le souffle qui nous attendait, offrant un panorama presque à 360° autour de la maison ! Idéalement située pour visiter certains sites incontournables de la région, il nous a été difficile de quitter la maison tant le séjour y était agréable. On pourrait passer des heures sur les différentes terrasses, devant la cheminée ou même dans la cuisine ! L’authenticité et l'élégante décoration faite avec goût nous ont fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Notre hôte, Pietro, a été très sympathique, joignable et à l'écoute, tant pour les petites attentions que pour résoudre les problèmes. Je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner !

Fantastische locatie aan de voet van de Etna, met prachtig uitzicht over de omliggende omgeving. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en was schoon opgeleverd. Michela is een zeer vriendelijke host en communiceerde snel. Een absolute no-brainer wat betreft prijs-kwaliteit.

This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

Guilia's place is spectacular! It's better than the photos with gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, city and even Calabria in the distance. The grounds are immaculate with a huge private terrace for meals and drinks and a massive pool that feels like your own private resort. Giulia's family lives in the other units and were always friendly and helpful but not intrusive in the least. Even Papaya the dog knew when to leave us to ourselves lol! The interior is pristine and spacious. As many have pointed out the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. So you are very close to all the restaurants and shops but away from the tourist hordes. Taormina is hilly but most of the walk is relatively flat. Traffic is not a worry, we did not encounter much of it on our walks. Also, Italian drivers, although speedy, are careful and well aware of pedestrians. Giulia is a fantastic host, always quick to provide recommendations and respond to our questions. Wish we could have stayed forever!

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit bei Domenico. Schon im Vorfeld haben wir hilfreiche Informationen erhalten, wie man zur Unterkunft kommt. Dadurch war es ganz unkompliziert, auch mit unserem Fiat Panda gut hochzufahren. Der Self-Check-in hat problemlos funktioniert. Oben angekommen, konnten wir einen tollen Blick über die Stadt und die grüne Umgebung genießen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, etwas oberhalb und abseits des Trubels. Sie ist schlicht und stilvoll im Vintage-Stil eingerichtet. Die Küche ist zwar klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man zu zweit braucht. Obst, Wasser, Joghurt und Kekse standen bereit. Das war eine nette Geste. Auf dem Gelände leben drei Hunde. Sie waren sehr ruhig, freundlich und haben nicht gebellt. Insgesamt eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Domenico war gut erreichbar, hat schnell geantwortet und hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Die Umgebung eignet sich wunderbar zum Wandern, besonders der Monte Cammarata ist sehr zu empfehlen. Our stay in Sicily was truly unforgettable! The house had a beautiful character, filled with charming details that made it feel like a home. The garden was a stunning oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm Sicilian evenings. Our host, Carlo, was exceptional—always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

Für uns ein erholsames Paradies in der Natur! Biagio, Francesco und auch Giovanni haben uns ausgesprochen hilfreich zur Seite gestanden, als wir große Probleme hatten. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, aber es ist alles da, was man so benötigt. Besonders die Größe war für uns ansprechend. Ein Auto ist dringend erforderlich für alle Aktivitäten, die Zuwegung ist steinig und uneben, aber gut zu schaffen. Einziges Problem war der Eingang zum Gebiet. Google Maps zeigten uns immer einen Zugang, der aber verschlossen ist. Man muss von der anderen Seite hineingehen.

Francesco made us feel very welcome. Very warm and friendly host. He even showed us some of his favourite eating spots in Stefano when he picked us up from the station! He was very generous. Always responded quickly to questions and helped us out with some extras. The flat had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. A great outdoor area to relax in the afternoons. Very quiet at nice, some very restful sleeps. The town is a great place to visit. Many amazing restaurants and places to eat and drink. The locals were very friendly. A perfect town for a weeks stay with enough to do to keep entertained. Molto grazie Francesco!

Ich bin zu Fuß vom Ätna her angereist. Mit dem Auto ist es trotz der Abgelegenheit sehr gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war reichlich, köstlich und nett angerichtet. Abendessen kann man auf Wunsch bekommen und ist typisch sizilianisch, frisch gekocht und äußerst lecker. Ein Aufenthalt ist definitiv zu empfehlen

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment looks just like the pictures. I tend to cook a lot and there were plenty of silverware and cookware to make a meal. The location is good if you have a car. You can be at Cefalù in less than 20 minutes and Palermo is a bit farther. And Enrico was definitely a great host.
