This treetops lakeview retreat is located on the South Western side of Lake Taupo. Tongariro Crossing, Mt Ruapehu Skifield, Turangi Adventure Tourism, hotpools, great bush walks and trout fishing are all within close proximity. Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. At night, why not barbecue with drinks on the deck or in the winter, enjoy the ambience of the warm fire!

Stunning Lake Retreat

This stylish and unique retreat space sets the stage for a memorable trip to a beautiful part of Lake Taupo. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, plus local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.
