A lovely, roomy, private place. Angela’s communications were excellent - with speedy replies being especially notable. The kitchen is little but don’t let this fool you, it had everything we needed for a weekend at the beach. Highly recommend this place for a weekend near the beach with views of the sea and a considerate communicative host.

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay at David and Amandas. The unit was spotless and well laid out, the bed and linen was super comfortable. The fridge was well stocked, loved the fruit touch. Thank you for having us!! Kay & John

Beautiful place with a gorgeous view!

Wendy was welcoming and great at communicating. The place was exactly as described and perfect for my daughter and me for our two-night stay—comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location. Just across from stunning Ngunguru Bay and only a few steps from the local dairy, it couldn’t have been more convenient. Wendy was also incredibly accommodating, which we really appreciated!

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

we arrived to a beautiful 😍 sanctuary of silence 🔕 and peace . appreciated the coffee washing facilities. dryer etc. comfortable seating 💺 decking outside. what's not to like.. and as I had a visit to medical centre in Wellington feeling unwell. this accommodation certainly ..was one of the reasons ..!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karl’s house. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-equipped with amenities as described, including a hot tub under the stars. We are so glad we included a few days in the Northland during our trip. The natural beauty is outstanding, and we hope to return in the future.

Occasionally you are fortunate to get a really, really good host with airbnb. This was one of those occasions. Communication was prompt. The listing was as described (if not better in real life) The place was spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed and the beds and bed linen were hotel standard. McLeod Bay is stunning and having the cafe and fish and chip shop just down the hill was a blessing. I would come back in a heartbeat, and probably will. Thanks again Elaine and Andy

Great location and very comfortable stay. The house is in excellent condition, much better than the pictures. Beautiful outdoor deck to relax in the sun. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.
