Perfect Retreat in Devonport! My stay at this beautiful cottage in Devonport was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in a peaceful, secluded location yet just a short distance from town, it offered the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The outdoor area was a true highlight—an inviting space to relax, unwind, and soak in the serene surroundings. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, the setting was simply idyllic. Inside, the cottage was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen was outstanding—spacious, modern, and stocked with all the appliances and essentials needed for a comfortable stay. It made cooking an absolute pleasure. This place is right in the middle of the town centre so we didn't feel the need to bring a car over. Everything was at the door step. The place was very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning and hearing the waves crashing against the rocks. The host is responsive and provided us with all the information we needed before our stay. Would love to stay again :)

My parents stayed at Brendon’s and Jayne’s unit for the first 10 days visiting Auckland. What can is say - AMAZING! Communication has been amazing throughout the days and Brendon always checked in if anything is needed it if any questions came up. I felt so good leaving my parents at his peaceful and private unit. Also the pool was definitely a perfect addition :) My parents felt very well looked after and loved everything! Thank you Brendon and Jayne :)

Pauline's place in Little Oneroa was ideal for my working retreat on the island. It is well located in a quiet street only 5 minutes walk to the beach and about 12 minutes walk to Oneroa village and plentiful supplies. It's also an easy taxi ride from the ferry and a short walk to the bus stop ride to visit other destinations on Waiheke. The apartment itself is stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The sun deck and green views were a lovely bonus. Best of all was the kindness of host Pauline who went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including gluten-free food. I hope to return.

a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio. Debbie was exceptionally kind and attentive, checking in to see if I needed any additional essentials though everything was already well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared. The studio itself is spacious, spotless, and located in a peaceful area. Its convenient location near a shopping mall, restaurants, and the motorway made getting around very easy. It’s a perfect choice for both individuals and couples, and the comfort and warmth of the space truly made me feel at home. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future not only for myself, but also for any friends or family visiting the area. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay. We appreciated the thoughtful extras of a selection of coffee and milk in the fridge. The location is great, as St Helier’s is a lovely area of Auckland and has some great shops. We felt refreshed after our stay

Our stay was wonderful! The flat was everything that we needed for a weekend or in Auckland. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. The view from the patio was both City and a slice of the harbor which we loved. It was a particularly warm and muggy first day in the flat, but the air conditioner worked perfectly. We had been worried that it was going to be difficult to get the keys from the shop next-door because we didn’t know what we could do with our car while retrieving the flat and parking garage keys (because I’m disabled). This wasn’t a problem as there is a loading zone right in front of the building and the shop where we got our keys. We also rented a parking space from Betty (about a block from the building). It’s a very short walk to get back to the apartment building, so unless you have disability issues like me and my partner, this is very easy to use. We had a little bit of trouble with the walk back with our luggage because of our unique situation.

Spacious, Spotless, and Thoughtfully Designed Stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely enjoyed our time at this well-thought-out apartment, located on the ground floor of the main house. The space was squeaky clean—inside and out—and beautifully maintained, which made us feel instantly at home. We were greeted with thoughtful touches like treats, coffee, and tea, and truly appreciated the early check-in offered due to our early arrival. The apartment itself is spacious, light, and airy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. There’s a lovely backyard with a table to sit and unwind, although we didn’t get a chance to use it during our stay. While there's no parking on the property, we easily found street parking right outside the gate. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance, which was a bonus. Overall, a wonderful and welcoming stay—would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient base!

Located close to beaches, forests, and wineries this is an ideal accommodation with very congenial hosts. The unit is immaculately clean and fresh looking and makes the most of a small space for breakfast prep. Honestly, she’s thought of almost everything you could need. Lauren provided info on nearby hiking and stores and restaurants when I had specific interests. We even shared a walk with her dog Molly one morning to nearby beaches I had yet to visit. There are lots of hills around, even the driveway is quite steep, so best to have a car if you’re not reasonably fit and don’t enjoy that type of exercise. Coming home at night, it’s quite dark near the house, but she provides a flashlight or you could use your mobile flashlight.. Overall, a wonderful stay, lots of fresh air, exercise, beautiful nature, peaceful environment in a very comfortable apartment. Thank you Lauren. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again..

Comfy with many thoughtful little things that make a stay so much easier like a beach towel, plenty of coffee, washing powder etc. Friendly helpful hosts. Can't beat the location so close to a fab swimming beach!

Great location, great large comfortable room and amenities. Within walking distance to Queen Street shopping, Woolworths Supermarket, Auckland Harbour, Sky City Casino, Sky Tower and various Car Rental offices. Also a new underground railway station 'Te Waihorotiu' (due to open 2025/26) is closeby as well. This will connect to Waitemata (Britomart) Station and Auckland Harbour. l really enjoyed my short stay in Auckland and recommend Christians Airbnb.

Well appointed apartment with central London vibe. Comfortable beds and great location, close to the Viaduct restaurants. We enjoyed the tennis court and rooftop pool. Superb communication and advice. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Iain’s place was the perfect base camp for a first time visit to Auckland! The location was extremely walkable with Sky Tower being a couple of blocks away and only a 10 minute walk to the ferries/harbor. The apartment itself was clean from top to bottom. The high ceilings and natural light made the space feel open and comfortable. The washer + dryer were super convenient to keep things clean after day tours or beach time. Although I didn’t use the kitchen extensively, it had everything you would need for self sufficient meal prep. There are so many incredible restaurants within walking distance so you can’t go wrong. Small note - if you are visiting during a NZ holiday be aware that the place you pick your access card up from could be closed depending on when your flight lands. I made it there about 15 minutes before they planned on closing (would check with host on this prior to arrival). I highly recommend this place and would stay again on a return trip to Auckland. What an awesome property. So fresh and new feeling. Larger than the pictures show. Very quiet, beautiful view of the bay. Large patio, awesome hot tub. Great location, walkable, close bus stop with amazing service. Kay was a fantastic host, always available and very helpful.
