Isabella’s house is beautiful and we felt right at home. It’s beautifully renovated and we loved the interior design of her home. I stayed here with my husband, our 2 small children, my mom, and my 2 sisters and their husbands for the Easter weekend. We all enjoyed the stay so much. There’s a great playground in the backyard that my children loved and the game room in the garage was awesome. Isabella is very responsive to messages and also very friendly. I made a mistake with the booking dates and she was so very kind and got it all sorted out. It was a very wonderful, memorable weekend. Thank you Isabella!

We had such a wonderful stay at Clare's home. The hosue is comfortable and the pool was perfect for beating the summer heat! The door to the pool is off the family rooom area but it is easily closable for keeping young kids away from teh pool if needed. The house is tastefully decorated with some homey additions like books and toys. We found it difficult to choose where to sit-- outside on the front porch or our by the pool lounge area. Although the house is not close enough to town to walk the location is very central and wooded. The view out the back is really wonderful. This is a great place for a family or anyone looking for an authentic Nevada City stay. Highly recommend!

Big and interesting house! Lovely deers around!

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

I absolutely recommend Paul’s place! It was astonishingly peaceful and great forest views. The bathroom was clean and had a decent amount of toiletries , as well as kitchen for cooking. the bed frames do creak a bit but that’s normal I believe since they are made out of wood . But everything else was superb! He is a very attentive host and will even give you info on trails, for hiking, and lakes for fishing! Overall 9 out of 10 and would come back . Thanks Paul ☺️

BEST location and a fabulous property. We parked our car for the entire stay. Walked minutes to restaurants, coffee, shops, to the suspension bridge and hiking trails. The outdoor patio is lovely, the beds comfortable and the home plenty roomy. Sam and Andrejka were super responsive and great hosts. It was the perfect place for our visit to Nevada City!

This place was as described! Very relaxing getaway! He is a responsive host, which was helpful. Super clear instructions and would not hesitate to come back again in the future. It was a nice getaway, close to some fun bilking trails and good eatery spots in town!

From the minute we walked in felt at home. Beautifully decorated without any clutter. All you could ask for was there and a bottle of wine to boot. We never turned on the TV and played scrabble and put together a puzzle with our friends. A great getaway.

Lucí was a great host! Very attentive. The space was perfect for our large group. The toiletries she had put were life savers as some of our group forgot a toothbrush or lotion. Would stay again!
